Very spacious waterfront cottage on the Bruce Trail in Lions Head, with an amazing view over Georgian Bay and Niagara Escarpment. Our location has it all: everything from the beach to small town ice cream shop, library, traditional pub, and water sports. Central to all Bruce Peninsula attractions. Right on the Bruce Trail. Sleep to the sounds of coyotes and waves, and wake to the sound of a loon. Pebble beach on cottage property, great for swimming/kayaks/canoes/fishing, etc. (watercraft not provided), sandy beach 2 minutes away. Large, 14' X 24' deck at front of cottage overlooking Georgian Bay. Ideal for kids to play safely in enclosed space while adults enjoy the spectacular view of ocean-like water and limestone cliffs. Located in town of Lions Head with all the amenities.
Entire cottage renovated, in 2009. Large bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, all rooms overlooking Georgian Bay.
Cottage is thoroughly cleaned and inspected at the end of each rental.
Lots to do in the area including hiking the Bruce Trail, swimming, fishing charters, boating (boat launch 2 minutes from cottage), golf, garden tours, kayaking, Tobermory visitor centre/shops/boat tours/scuba diving; Sauble Beach with amusement park, shops, events; horseback riding; antique shops; flea market; stargazing; etc.

Equipments:
4 large bedrooms all with view of Georgian Bay. Full bathroom downstairs, half bath upstairs. Bedroom #1 (downstairs) has double futon, patio doors onto deck; Bedroom #2 (upstairs) has 2 single beds; Bedroom #3 (upstairs) has queen sized bed and Bedroom #4 has queen sized bed. All beds have linens.
Fully equipped kitchen with full sized fridge and stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, dishes, pans, glassware and cutlery as well as lots of cupboard space for your groceries.
Bathroom includes tub and shower and bath linens for 6 people.
Wireless internet but no TV.
Deck has patio furniture as well as barbecue. We have a propane tank for the barbecue, but you may have to go fill it at the gas station near by.
Fire pit in side yard and on the beach.

Location Information: Waterfront cottage on Georgian Bay, located on north edge of small town of Lion's Head. Cottage is on the Bruce Trail. 2 minute drive, or 10 minute walk into town of Lion's Head as this cottage is on a short dead-end street, just off the main street of town. Lions Head has a grocery store, pharmacy, small shops, restaurants, as well as a hospital and OPP station. In Lions Head there is a full service marina, next to a beautifully maintained public sandy beach with washroom facilities

Rental weeks are from Saturday at 2PM to the following Saturday at 10AM. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate any requests for less than a week.
$1600 June 29th through to October 19th, 2013
$1200 Rest of the year
Lions Head is also beautiful in the winter, with great snowshoeing and cross country skiing opportunities.
Please note half of rental amount is due upon booking as a non-refundable deposit, with the other half due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
