Description
|
Our cottage has 3 bedrooms that all have queen size beds, 1 bathroom with an open concept kitchen/living room. It is newly renovated and comes fully furnished. There is a propane BBQ, charcoal BBQ and there is a firepit with lots of complimentary firewood for your use.
Three local beaches are close by with our favorite being the Hillman Marsh North Beach just a short 5 minute walk away.
There are many local wineries and golf courses as well as many other attractions such as Point Pelee National Park, Colasantis Tropical Gardens and Pelee Island (which is accessable via a ferry out of Leamington or Kingsville). There are 2 great museums: Heritage Village in Kingsville which is a Vintage Car Museum and also the Erie Quest Marine Heritage Museum in Leamington.
We have many fairs and festivals from the 154rd Comber Fair starting around August 10th, the 160th Harrow Fair starting on August 29th to the Tomato Festival in Leamington the third weekend in August.
There are also numerous rib fests from Windsor to Amherstburg,
Our biggest attractions are Hillman Marsh and Point Pelee for the bird lovers. Not to be outdone is the fall butterfly migration of many species including the monarch butterfly. We do provide a Group Pass for entry into Point Pelee for your use. This is to be used at not cost but must be left at the cottage at the end of your stay.
