This 3 bedroom waterfront cottage on Big Hawk Lake has south-eastern exposure and is a great place for a relaxing summer vacation. With no road leading up to the cottage there will be no uninvited guests. After free parking at the marina, launch your boat at the public boat launch. If you haven't got your own boat you can rent one or take a boat taxi to the cottage. The trip will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes. At the cottage you will find a canoe with paddles, life jackets and safety kit. Big Hawk Lake is a canoers paradise. The cottage which is build on the waters edge has a big L-shaped deck and will provide you with fabulous views of the lake. A propane BBQ, patio table and chairs which fold down for suntanning will help you to relax. While you are suntanning on the deck you can watch your children jump into the lake from a floating dock. The lake is of a good size for tubing, water skiing and sailing. Bring along your water toys. Perfect for family vacations and romantic escapes. Excellent swimming, canoeing, bass and lake trout fishing. Close to golf courses, Haliburton Forest and Algonquin Park. Please be advised, due to the fact that there is no road leading to the cottage you will need a boat to get to and from the cottage.
