Waterfront, 3 bedroom family cottage newly renovated and decorated. Screened upper porch (12x24) offers beautiful lakefront views and lower deck for sunbathing. Property has sun from morning untill evening, enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the dock. Private lake with gated boat access, private dock. Lake is annually stocked with Rainbow Trout, Perch and Bass. Fishing Lisence is required.
Loons, herons and ducks are frequent visitors to the dock. At night listen to the music of bull frogs and of course the haunting song of the loons.
Excellent swimming from dock, no beach.
Take long walks thru the beautiful treed trails and pick wild raspberries in season
Suit quiet couples, young children not recommended due to deep water off of the dock.
Beautiful rock gardens to enjoy and outdoor chimea for evening fires or toasting wieners or marshmellows (prongs provided)
Area is heavily wooded with great walking paths.

Our week at Roy's Retreat was phenominal. An escape from reality, we were able to
live in the midst of serenity and beauty.
>From the visiting heron and tortoise, to the calming sounds of wildlife and
water, everything about this cottage is perfect.
This cottage has everything you could look for. We spent nights roasting marshmellows
in the chimea. We ate and played cards by candlelight in the screened in porch, to
the sounds of the loons. We caught an abundance of fish (which we released of
course). The water is beautiful and warm. Waking in the morning, I would sit with my
tea at the dock and watch the sunrise. Sunset at Roy's Retreat is the most beautiful
thing I have ever seen. There is not shortage of supplies, as the owners made sure we
would have nothing to worry about during our stay. I would recommend this cottage for
those of you who ache to get away. It is so close to the city, yet private and still.
We loved it so much that we requested two weeks NEXT year. You won't be sorry.

Roys's Retreat is spacious, the beds are very comfortable, the cottage is very clean and well maintained. Having the covered and screened outside porch was a huge bonus especially at night when the mosquitos are out. The gardens are beautiful and the lake is very clean. A truly enjoyable visit.

BOOKING FOR SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER - BEAUTIFUL TIME OF THE YEAR
Cottage is available for a MINIMUM OF 1 WEEK, -may be rented for the month or season(if available). Check-in - Saturday at 2 o'clock, check-out, Saturday at 11 o'clock.
At time of booking a 25% deposit is required, balance is due 2 weeks prior to arrival if paying by cheque or cash the day of arrival
A security deposit of $300.00 is required at check-in to be returned within 5 working days.
