~ We have 2 adjacent cottages. Combined sleeping arrangement of 24 ~ Wi-Fi internet, 47" tv, dvd/cd IPod dock, surround sound, fire pit & wood, bbq & propane, linens supplied, 4 double beds & 1 single, 2 sofa beds, balcony off master bedroom. ~
If you are planning a vacation in New Brunswick, Shediac is a must see. Visit our World Famous Public Parlee Beach in Shediac, Pointe du Chene enjoy great food and night life, a good place to party to the wee hours, Boutouche Bay Dunes, Le Pays de la Segouine, Confederation Bridge to Prince Edward Island to see Anne of Green Gables, Kouchibougouc and Fundy National Parks. Take a leisurely drive along the shore and visit Caissie Cape, Shediac, Pointe du Chene, Cape Pele, Grand Barachois, Cape Brule and Cape Bimet. Close to many tourist attractions, Magic Mountain and Magnetic Hill for the young at heart, numerous golf courses, including the famous Royal Oaks, boat tours, seafood restaurants, boutiques and fresh local sea food.
Shediac is known for its white sand at our Public Parlee Beach and the title as The Lobster Capital of the World. It is estimated that there is 2000 cottages plus numerous campgrounds, hotels and motels receive an influx of tourist that bring the 7000 winter population to approximately 80,000 during the summer months. On particularly any hot day as many as 25,000 visitors ( locals and tourist ) arrive to enjoy the warm salty waters.
For a relaxing and peaceful vacation ( away from it all ) you have come to the right place. Our modest 2 storey cottage is minutes away from Shediac, located on a private beach. Literally steps from the beach (30 meters - 100 feet) where you can anchor your water craft within view.
Less than a minute walk to the beach, so if you are going to spend time walking then no better place then on the beach. So grab your morning coffee and enjoy a beautiful sunrise over the water. A short 5 - 10 minute leisure stroll along the shore becomes a relaxing ½ mile excursion.
The Northumberland Strait boast the warmest salt water temperature north of the Carolina's and the great number of beaches make this one of the most popular and desirable vacation destinations. It is centrally located to Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, the perfect area to make scenic day trips from.

This 1100 sq ft cottage offers a clean affordable accommodation. It has 3 bedrooms (4 double beds, 1 twin, double sofa bed and a queen sofa bed. It can comfortably sleep 13) and 2 bathrooms.
The main floor consists of a front sitting room (Florida room) , kitchen, living room, one bedroom with a double bed and a twin upper bunk, bathroom equipped with a shower, sink and toilet (toilet paper supplied).
The second floor has 2 bedrooms and a ½ bathroom. The master bedroom has a double bed, lay back or step through the garden doors and enjoy the incredible unobstructed panoramic view of the water or relax on the large balcony and experience the breath taking sunrises and sunsets over the water. This is another great place to enjoy your morning coffee, relax and read a book or watch the sail boats glide by. On a clear day you may catch a glimpse of Prince Edward Island. The second upstairs bedroom has two double beds. The walls and ceilings are insulated to keep the bedrooms cool during the warm summer nights.
The cottage is equipped with all the linens (linens supplied, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, beach towels, pillows (hypoallergenic), mattress and pillow protectors along with new box springs and mattresses) , dishes, cooking utensils, 47" tv, cable, wi-fi internet, dvd/cd surround sound with I-Pod docking station, electric heat, ceiling fans in all the bedrooms and a propane BBQ with side burner (propane supplied). The only carpeting is on the stairs leading to the second floor.
The large 365 sq ft front lower wraparound deck , which includes patio furniture and eating area with an umbrella, it has a great view of the water and a 150 sq ft wraparound rear deck if you are looking to chase the shade or sun. The large second storey balcony located off the master bedroom is well equipped with patio furniture and boasts an incredible unobstructed panoramic view of the water.
For adventurous sea-farers, bring your canoe, kayak, or windsurfer and launch it from the beach.
There is an exterior fire pit with an abundant supply of fire wood. Great place to relax at end the of day, roast smores, play a guitar or plan the next days events.
This is a tranquil place located on a quiet private dead end street and is a great place to enjoy: relaxation, spectacular sunsets, walk the shore, endless sand bars at low tide, fly a kite, build that sand castle with your kids you always wanted to do, where the kids can play & swim.
