Description
|
We are pleased to offer our newly built three season island cottage located on the historic Big Rideau Lake.
It is best enjoyed by those who are experienced boaters but there are water taxis available at both marinas in Portland, 2 miles across the lake.
The cottage has a picturesque private setting on the north 1.5 acres of a 10 acre island. We have 1000 feet of shoreline with sunset views to the west and sunrise on the boat dock to the east.
The cottage was newly built in 2010 with 3 bedrooms, open concept living/dining/kitchen, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a large screened porch and and expansive deck as well.
We have a full septic, all new appliances including, stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, clothes washer, LCD TV with VCR and DVD, and woodstove.
This is a prime swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, and fishing location.
You will have full use of non-motorized boats including, canoe, pedal boat, and double kayak.
In 2011 we added a swim raft.
