This neat and tidy, almost 300 sq.ft. including the screened porch, tiny and compact, yet well equipped, waterfront cabin has just about everything you will need for a weekend away from city life. Located at the east end of Palmerston Lake, in a small bay-like setting, it is perfect for a couple who enjoy the out of doors and just need a place to lay their heads down at night. Being a motel style efficiency unit with a "bunkie" feel, the couch/ sofa bed doubles as your sleeping quarters for the night. (no separate bedroom)A well stocked kitchenette including large new toaster oven,microwave, new 2 burner hotplate, new fridge, sink with H/C water, all dishes and cutlery, pots and pans, toaster, kettle, tea pot etc. makes meal preparation convenient. A 3 piece bathroom with a modern shower stall, a closet and storage shelving unit, lunch counter with chairs and a T.V. with DVD/VCR are included for your added comfort. All blankets and pillows are provided. All windows are screened offering a breeze from the lake. The Guesthouse is heated with electric heat. An intimate front yard with picnic table bordering the lake, a sundeck atop a boathouse and an adequately sized screened porch provides comfort and cozyness after a fun filled day in this still relatively quiet area in The Land O'Lakes.

Year round availability, with the exception of early June-early September. Weekends as low as $150.00 for 2 nights, 2 persons. Minimum 2 nights.

Winter fishermen and off road enthusiasts will appreciate just having a warm place to unwind and lay their heads down at night. Perfect for 2 persons only.

Your hosts reside year round on the same property and we prefer guests who are seeking a quiet getaway and will be respectful of other privately owned cottage owners in this area. We are always available for assistance and offer the use of our home telephone as there is no cell phone service in this area. Parking is provided at the top of the property behind the cottages, access to the guesthouse is via a common stairwell, or by water. Boat launch is a very short distance away.Palmerston Lake offers good Bass and Lake Trout fishing, May-Nov.. Please bring your own linen and towels and drinking water. Please smoke outside, we do not acccept pets.
