| What a cottage. Really a great spot for two couple, or a few individuals.
Beautiful view from the deck and the lawn area is very spacious, not to mention the wrap around to the alternative seating that, if water levels were not what they were, would of been a fantastic sandy area.
The inside is very special, clean, spacious and the recently redone washroom is a nice touch. Dar was lovely as well and the brief chat we had a remodeling of the kitchen was mentioned as forthcoming.
My only critique, and it's minor, is the tinted main viewing windows. It is a positive for keeping the house better climate controlled but at night it makes viewing from them very difficult if sitting outside is not an option.
I am looking forward to visiting again.

| This was our first time at Harbour House and we enjoyed our experience immensely. The cottage was well equipped.....it was nice to do a load of laundry mid week and having air conditioning was a blessing, as our week there was very hot and humid. The cottage was bright and clean and decorated in beachy colours and decor. Leamington was close by for shopping and we toured a few wineries. My husband was happy fishing .....the lake has plenty of walleye. The view from the deck was lovely and having our own private beach was a bonus. Thanx for having us Dar and Butch.

| We stayed this cottage last year (2018) and decided to book for this summer 2019 even before leaving. It is so clean, bright and cozy. Gorgeous back porch and beach ~ couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you Butch and Dar ~ looking forward to this summer :)

| We were looking for a quiet getaway to relax by the water. We found it! First blush we were concerned about how close to the road it was. This was not a worry as the slight road noise was not evident inside the cottage, nor on the back deck. In fact, the placement was as if we were alone on the water! The cottage was spotless upon arrival, was well equipped and everything was working. The recent addition of A/C was perfect as we hit the week with a heat wave. There is a small beach beside the cottage that you get to share with ducks and geese at times. Neither posed a problem and it was fun to watch their antics. Herons were also about. Located nearby were food places and a rental store for paddle boards and such. The place is a quick drive to Leamington for supplies and is just up the road from Point Pelee National Park. The Pelee Island ferry is about 10 minutes away by car and quite safe to bicycle there too. Pelee Island Winery is nearby and has tours and tastings if wine is part of your life. They have some special in house only wines too. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, one that is easy to get to and close to amenities then take a look at Harbour House Cottage. It really is next to the harbour. BBQ is on natural gas, so no worries about running out in the middle of your steak cooking. All in all, we had a terrific time here and would certainly consider a return visit. The owners are close by, if needed, and very friendly!
