Island View House is an architect designed lakefront home on Lake Cecebe that is loaded with amenities. The house faces south east providing a long view down the lake between Gordon and Watson Islands.
Solid pine doors and accents throughout the house add to its lake charm. The large deck of Island View House is a great place to see without being seen, sun bathe, relax, eat outside, or BBQ.
Lake Cecebe is just north of Huntsville and is between Burk's Falls and Magnetawan.

- A well behaved 100% house trained friendly dog who is good with strangers is allowed if the owners agree to pick up all droppings and never leave the dog unattended. You must keep your pet on a leash at all times and not allow him/her to wander onto neighboring properties. A dog cannot be left alone uncrated in Island View House or tied outside alone to bark at any time. Extra vacuuming must be done to ensure that there's no dog hair left behind.
- Ideal for a couple, family or multi-generational/extended family with grandparents. Very suitable for active seniors. Suitable for individuals with mobility issues.
- Guests are expected to bring their own sheets, pillow cases and towels OR towels, sheets, and pillow cases can be provided by prior arrangement for an extra $70 per week for 1 to 4 guests and $110 for 5 to 8 guests.
- Check-in is no earlier than 2 PM on Saturday and check-out is no later than 11 AM on Saturday.
- Potential guests will be asked to fill out and return a Guest Information form, similar to those required by most cottage rental firms. Information on the form will be used for screening purposes and will be kept private.

- Island View House is situated on a large lot which is 400' deep and 100' wide. Owners will occasionally use separate dock and pathway on the western most 10' of the lot. Owners will park one or more vehicles at the back of the deep lot, but will not disturb guests as they pass Island View House. The owners vehicles will be parked well behind the garage and cannot be seen from inside Island View House, the deck, or the front area between the house and the lake, ensuring privacy for renters.
Island View House has been welcoming guests to Lake Cecebe since 2009. Since then over half of the nights are booked by returning guests who find Island View House and its lake-front setting relaxing, comfortable, and beautiful in its ability to refresh them from the stresses of life in the city.

NOTES There is a MAXIMUM of 8 guests of any age at Island View House. A non-refundable deposit of $500 for each week is required to confirm all bookings. The remainder of the rental fee must be paid 30 days before the start of the rental period. If the cottage is booked less than 30 days in advance the entire rental fee is due at the time of booking. A $400 damage/cleaning deposit is required. We can provide sheets and towels for an extra $60 per week/stay for 1-4 guests and $100 for 5-8 guests. Prior arrangement is necessary. | Our family has rented this amazing piece of paradise every summer for over five years. Norm and Bev are top notch hosts and the cottage is always spotlessly clean. The layout of the cottage is perfect for our large family and affords everyone ample space to relax and unwind. Island View House has an amazing waterfront location and our family loves to swim, fish and boat on sparking Lake Cecebe. The view from the deck is nothing short of breathtaking. A marina is only minutes away to launch your boat and get gas. Unlike many cottages, it is only minutes to quaint Magnetawan where there is a lovely restaurant, small grocery and the Saturday market which is a family favourite for us. Year after year, Norm and Bev never cease to amaze us with their hospitality and kindness. They are only a phone call away for any questions and always make us feel welcome. We starting counting down to our next visit almost as soon as we check out. Highly recommend Island View House and excited for our next visit. | This is our 4th visit to the cottage and we can't say enough! Very clean and spacious. Having a dishwasher and main floor laundry is a wonderful plus for a cottage. The view is spectacular and swimming is enjoyable off the dock or as our dog did, right from shore. Minimal lake traffic so you can have a relaxing time on the dock. This is definitely luxury on Lake Cecebe. Will for sure return!

| Island View House has been one of our favourite family cottage holidays for over six years. We've rented many cottages but now we always return to this one. I can honestly say that it is the prettiest cottage our family has ever stayed at. Helps that it has been architecturally designed. IVH is suitable for all ages, even dogs are welcomed. We include both and our mother-in-law who is in her 80's because this property is so easy to get around. We love the beautifully designed well built clean cottage with large deck overlooking the crisp clean lake. The owners Beverly and Norman are wonderful people and they take excellent care of the property. If you want a fabulous and comfortable holiday, I guarantee that this is a great spot but you'd better book early because most people return like we do. For this price you're not going to find many like it. Trust me I've done my research and sorry, I won't be giving up my week.

| I can't say enough great things about the Island View House.
I first rented this beautiful cottage in 2015 with a couple friends and had the most relaxing and fun time in a long while. I wanted to come back and I decided to do so while bringing my whole family this time.
The minute you pull up the driveway you know you have made the right decision. The house is gorgeous inside and out. You barely have to bring anything with you other than clothes, food and bedding. The accommodations are outstanding. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The fire pit is perfectly placed. The dock is big enough to fit tons of people and the view from the dock is surreal.
I would recommend the Island View House to everyone and anyone looking for a small escape to paradise. You will not be disappointed.
