| My partner, dog and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at Pine Rock cottage. Bev and Norm were so friendly and helpful when we arrived. While the island is small, we had so much space to ourselves. The island was so quiet. We didn't hear any voices or music from our island neighbours the whole time we were there. The cottage is cozy and charming. It had all the essentials and more. (I was pleasantly surprised at how there was enough hot water to have a long, hot shower!) The natural surroundings were stunning. We enjoyed the rainy days just as much as the sunny ones. We loved watching the sun set over the lake as we sat around the fire pit. I highly recommend Pine Rock cottage!

| Dear Norm and Bev, As you know, my parents brought me to Lake Cecebe 50 years ago when I was just a child. Coming back to this beautiful area brought back many precious memories. Your cabin Pine Rock was just perfect for us. The interior of the cabin was extremely well equipped and very comfortable. All accoutrements were top quality and in excellent condition. We enjoyed all the natural lighting and warm wood inside the cabin. We were also amazed at how well stocked it was for every conceivable need. The canoe that comes with the cabin was excellent (very light and quiet on the water). We used it nearly every evening to paddle around the island and were lucky enough to hear Norm's bagpipes drifting across the water twice (quite something in the dusk with light fog rolling in). We rented a motor boat for several days and toured the entire lakeshore and went up the river quite a ways towards Burks Falls (classic undisturbed Canadian wilderness).
All in all, it was a magical visit for us. We really appreciated your hospitality and friendliness and look forward to returning soon.
Warm regards, John and Therese C.

| First time staying at PRC, and I will definitely return! I went on my own for a little escape from the city life, and I can say it is a great retreat for a single person. Bev and Norm have equipped the cottage with all the amenities, and it is very clean. Even though there are other cottages on the island, you wouldn't know it; it is very quiet and peaceful. The weather was not the greatest, but that did not stop me from enjoying the many vantage points (dock, deck, bench overlooking the lake, etc) to enjoy my books and my ipod....or just sitting and watching the lake go by. Really enjoyed the small campfires each night!
