The cottages and bunkies front directly onto a beautiful, private sandy beach with 180' of 4frontage, including a dock, canoe, and rowboat, a ranch-style stone double charcoal BBQ, propane BBQ, and a large gazebo for outdoor eating and relaxing. Behind the cottages is a fantastic groomed walking path through 4+ acres of forest.
High-speed Wi-fi is included, and the Main cottage and Cabin both have flat-screen TVs, AppleTVs, and DVD players.
Located on the exclusive "Midland Point," the property is an easy 90-minute drive following the 400 series of highways from Toronto and a 30-minute drive from Barrie, Ontario.
The Jeffery Cottage: This is the original cottage on Jeffery Bay (Midland Bay), built on Midland Point over 100 years ago. Mr. Jeffery selected the cottage location (owner of F.W. Jeffery and Sons, a heavy hardware merchant in Midland) to observe Great Lake freighter traffic entering and departing Midland Harbour. It now lends itself to spectacular sunrises and sunsets and viewing the odd tall ship and freighter.
The MAIN cottage is approximately 1200 square feet, including 3 bedrooms, sun porch, pantry, kitchen, three-piece bathroom with a shower/
claw foot tub, fireplace, and large living & dining areas. Dining is a full family experience at our huge live edge banquet table, milled on the property - it seats up to 15 people! Sleeps 6 comfortably.
The GUEST COTTAGE: The guest cottage was a 1970 addition to the compound. Approximately 800 square feet includes two bedrooms, a bathroom (with rain shower), kitchen and dining area, and living room. There is a wall unit air conditioner in this building. Sleeps 5 comfortably.
Bunkie: The bunkie includes a brass double bed and privacy! Located to the west of the main cottage - Ideal for a couple. Sleeps 2 comfortably.
Bunkie #2: The second bunkie - "The Studio" - is a spacious 120 square feet and includes a queen bed, reading chair, bay windows with a great lake view, and privacy. Located east of the main cottage - Ideal for a couple or family with a baby. Sleeps 2 comfortably.
