Secluded A frame cottage 5/ 10 minute walk to Cape Blomidon park beach, 200yards off Blomidon highway, nestled in woods with brook running through property , picnic area by brook with fire pit.
The cottage is newly renovated with small upstairs bedrooms, small 3 pc bathroom and one bedroom downstairs,
1 bedroom has 2 captain beds more suited for children. Children under 12 no additional charges
You have netflix TV and internet , electric fridge,stove,microwave, toaster,coffeemaker, etc. Will accommodate family with small active children nicely.
This property is ideal for someone wishing to enjoy trails in Blomidon park, or beach .You are 10/15 minute drive to town of Canning,for groceries,gas, etc. 25/30 minutes to Kentville, New Minas, or Wolfville , for shopping, dining, also 30 minute from start of Cape Split hiking trails.
New apt style washer will be added for 2017, out door drying line. crib,change table,high chair on request.
The front deck was renovated (april 22) and expanded for more spacious outdoor relaxing , with child door for security.

| We had a great three nights at this property. The cottage is rustic on the outside but totally up to date inside. Sitting on the porch and listening to the babbling brook and rustling leaves was so peaceful, makes you think you're in the middle of the forest but only a short distance from the highway. A wonderful, renewing retreat.

| So happy we found this cottage. The owner, Ken, messaged the day before arrival asking if we wanted fresh flounder fillets put in the fridge from his catch that day.....wow....that was amazing and so thoughtful. The cottage itself was more than we could have hoped for. Clean and had everything we needed. The fire area was awesome, tidy and secluded. Close to my mom and brother, grocery stores, and tons of water to swim and play in. We can't say enough good things about Ken and this cottage.... we will definitely be back.

| I am very comfortable to be home after being away for three weeks. But I have to say that nowhere I have stayed in the past has made me feel as ?At Home? as Cape Blomidon Cottage. We stayed there for 20 days and I just snuggled in to comfort. Comfortable bed, Comfortable sofa? Beautiful walks through the lovely forest to the road and then impressive views of the Bay and the Tides.
Just a hop, skip and a jump up to Blomidon Provincial Park or down to Canning, NS for shopping or to visit our grandchildren! Hope very much to be back to Nova Scotia again next year and snuggle right back in to Cape Blomidon Cottage.

| Meant to write this last year.... We stayed for a week last August and are going back again this year. Wonderful spot, quiet and very very clean. Had a cottage booked last year that feel through and came upon this by accident, and it was the best thing that could have happened! We have stayed at lots of cottages and this is one of the best. Feels like you are miles back in the woods....Babbling brook, fire pit and nothing but quiet.....perfect!
