This was our second visit! And we will come back every summer! That's our family plan. David is well trusted and professional to deal with. I have asked cottagesincanada about him to make sure it's real and before sending full amount, and they said the same! The Cottage is amazing and quite. In night we had a clear sky and saw the stars like never before. Don't worry if you forget anything as the cottage is fully equipped with anything comes to your mind. Clean, no bugs inside and very cozy. Exactly as pictures. Hard to find by google maps but we got clear and accurate directions.

Our family rented both cottages and found Larson Lake, the cottages and the surrounding property to all be fantastic. For us the property allowed for a perfect vacation. We highly recommend Larson Lake and advise you that everything stated in the owners description was accurate and honest.

This cottage was great. We've rented a lot of cottages in the past and have had a lot of good experiences, but this one really did stand out. The pictures on the website do not lie. It's even nicer than the pictures, really. What also stood out was the great condition of everything, which you can't always tell from pictures. The sports equipment was in good, playable condition. The furniture was not rickety or wobbly. The beds were comfortable. The taps, water, power, appliances, etc., were all functioning as if very well maintained and cared for. There was good seating provided at so many of the outdoor areas; at the beach, in the shade, on the porch, on the hill, etc. A beautiful, rustic, cozy, ideal, "cottage" vacation, with all the comforts of home at your convenience, so you can just relax and enjoy your time. Very convenient garbage and recycling system too. These people have really got it right. As for the lake, it is amazingly shallow and sandy and warm. Just a fantastic place. Great for kids. ...Hummingbirds, butterflies, frogs, wildflowers and mushrooms... Lots of open lawn space too. I could go on... I would definitely recommend this place and return here again.

What a wonderful, secluded place for a vacation! We spent two weeks here with our two small children (two and four) and an adult friend. The lake is amazingly quiet - we heard and saw the resident loons almost daily - and amazing period. The beach was perfect with the children, and the owners supplied boats, beach toys, books, and toys in and around the cottage galore. We were unlucky to experience several small mishaps round about the cottage, but David dealt with them all immediately and professionally. Not an ideal location for fishing, but perfect for anyone wanting quiet and nature without being disturbed by motorboats or anything else.

My wife and I were recently at Larson lake in fall in the larger of the two cottages. The cottage was spacious and well equipped. And it exuded an aura of an old world Muskoka country charm that included a floor to ceiling stone fireplace that was nice to warm up by. The beds were very comfortable. Great place to kick back from the sounds and fury of city life.

The lake and surrounding 750 acres of forest were beautiful - very private. The old white pines were magnificent. We walked around the lake through the woods. There were peaceful spots to stop and view the lake - which is a good size - and flat rocks for sun tanning and watching the clouds roll over. The lake is shallow around the shoreline and would be perfect swimming for young kids given its sandy bottom and shallowness. There is also a floating dock further out in the lake for diving. It was great canoeing on a lake without anyone in sight with the exception of a loon in the distance. The cottage came with canoes, paddle boards and kayaks. We would also consider renting both cottages for an extended family affair or for a small yoga retreat. The owners - who have a house at a distance overlooking the lake - were extremely sensitive to our privacy and responded immediately to any question. Highly recommend the place.
