Cottage Plum Point is a Beautiful Waterfront 5 bedroom Family cottage, 2.5 floors, 3000+ square foot of living space. We are located approximately 1 hour from Toronto. We are located on Lake Simcoe, which is a beautiful, clean, healthy, inland lake in Ontario. Great for fishing, canoeing, paddle boating or kayaking. We supply bedsheets, pillows with pillow cases and comforters for all 10 beds.

-Large Family Room w/ T.V & dvd player with amazing view of the lake that leads to a large deck with a new bbq and patio tables and chairs w/umbrellas

Third floor offers:
-loft style bedroom with 2 Queen bed w/fan and A/C
-Bathroom (2 piece) Powder Room
Feel free to bring any kind of fishing equipment. Toboggans and winter sports are also welcomed under adult supervision.
There is a lot of space to relax and things to do for everyone kids, teenagers & adults.
Water:
The lot in front of the lake has grass and the water is very shallow, safe for children. It is safe to swim in and fish in. It also is sloped so that if you do have a small boat you could launch it from the backyard and no marina is needed.
As we prefer to rent to families, we do not rent the cottage to teenagers.
The minimum age of the primary renter (who is to remain on the premises for the duration of the rental) is 25. We could make exception from this rule but special conditions will apply.
We do ask for proof of age upon booking and arrival.

| This roomy cottage was an excellent value for our large group of 14. We booked our stay with Constantin in 2019 for the 2020 season, and he very graciously rolled over our booking two years in a row due to the pandemic, without increasing our rental fee. He was also easily reached over the phone to answer all of our questions.
George and his wife were waiting for us at check-in, and welcomed us to a very nicely cleaned space. George gave us a thorough tour, which helped make our stay even smoother.
The fact that the house was air conditioned was a huge bonus, allowing us to cool off during the hot days and sleep comfortably at night. Note that the third floor room tends to trap heat during the day, but it has a portable AC unit, which does an excellent job cooling the room quickly. However, if you are a light sleeper and staying in that room, you may want to bring earplugs to dull the droning noise from the compressor.
The waterfront is quite shallow for a very long distance, which can be great for kids, but may be less desirable for others. It is also quite weedy, which may bother some. However, if you bring floaties (or buy some at the Giant Tiger in town), you should be just fine!
We also really enjoyed a lot of the cottage amenities, including the barbecue, fire pit, canoe, and ping pong table. Having two fridges was a big bonus for our large group as we brought up all of our food and drinks for the weekend with us.
Overall, our group enjoyed our stay!

| We had the pleasure of staying at Constantin s cottage for a couple of days in June 2022. The cottage is very roomy,very clean, lot of activities to do,inside and outside. We had no issues with our stay, made a lot of memories and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Constantin.

| We stayed here in June 16-17, 2022 and we had a great relaxing time. Cottage is spacious, very clean and has everything you can think - ping pong table, pool table, fussball table, badminton, paddleboat, kayak. Sunrise and sunset are breathtaking from the deck, facing the lake and the nights around the fire, by the lake, are amazing in this oasis of peace, so close to Toronto . We will be back soon !

| Lots of room for large families. A few issues we had was the loft bedroom smelled of mold and animal pee. The down stairs bathroom had mold on the ceiling tile and mold in the shower. The railing isnt kid friendly. The water was clear but there are alot of weeds and the bottom is very mucky. We made the best of it as it was our family vacation.

| Had the pleasure of staying at Constantin's lovely cottage this Canada Day 2018. The cottage was very easy to find and was near a waterfront which was a huge plus. Our group thoroughly enjoyed the boats and canoes that were provided along with the nice campfire by the water. The kitchen is very well stocked with almost everything you need and the whole cottage had ample space for our group of 14. Only downside was the kitchen temperature on the main floor - when we used that kitchen to cook, it made that room almost like a sauna. Aside from that Constantin is a great host and communicated in a very timely manner.
