Welcome to Murray Corner! The Snows Farmhouse has been in our family for well over 100 years. With extensive renovations it has become a comfortable place to host friends and families. Beach access through a private gate to Murray Beach Provincial Park and water views lets you enjoy all of what summer has to offer. We also provide a Provincial Park Pass if you would rather drive down to the beach. This pass allows you free entry to all the provincial parks in NB.

This rustic, spacious farmhouse boasts sleeping accommodations for 10 and has all the amenities required to have a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The kitchen is bright with lots of seating for family meals and comfortable furniture to enjoy a coffee and a beautiful sunset. The Kitchen Chamber is a great place for the children to enjoy their own private space to play or watch TV on those rainy days (hopefully few!) Additional TV room and lots of outside space for the kids to run around. With private access it is just a couple minutes walk to the warm waters of the Northumberland Strait. The beach is sandy and flat. Low tide exposes lots of sand bars for hours of enjoyment making sand castles, collecting hermit crabs and minnows.

There is a family owned local store Lakes Store (The Rite Stop), that is just a couple minutes down the road. It has pretty much anything you may require with regards to gas, food and supplies. There is also a Take Out just up the road that has all your favourite guilty pleasures. Cape Jourimain Nature Center is a wonderful stop just before the Confederation Bridge. It is a must see before heading to the island. The views of the Confederation Bridge are spectacular.

We had a relaxing and wonderful stay at Snows Farmhouse for two weeks in August. The layout of the house suited us well, with a beautiful great room for the kitchen and dining room, separate den with the t.v. and four bedrooms upstairs. Everyone had their own space! With two toddler boys I wasn't sure how they would take to the shower--Dawn kindly installed a removable shower head and this worked very well for the boys. Thanks so much for that Dawn! The kitchen had everything we needed, including the all important lobster pot and tools. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were quaint and nicely furnished. The kids loved the big bedroom above the kitchen and spent many hours playing up there. Access to the beach was easy, just a short walk to the sand and surf at the provincial park next door. We spent the better part of our days playing in the warm water and running along the sandbars. The sunsets from the farmhouse are spectacular, the best we've seen along this coast line. We had the perfect view from the great room and the fire pit, which is made from beautiful large sandstones. We treasured our time at Snows Farmhouse and highly recommend this property for family summer vacations, east coast style!

Snows Farmhouse was the perfect place for our two families to stay together: two lovely bedrooms with Queen beds for the two couples, a single room for my sister's 11-year-old, and the spacious "kitchen chamber" for our teen daughters, who used the bunk beds. Lots of comfortable seating for visiting and plenty of room outside, where we enjoyed badminton and volleyball. Loved having a fire pit, and access to the beach is just a short walk away. Well situated for trips across the Confederation Bridge or up to Parlee Beach. When my brother and his partner joined us for a couple of nights, we considered using the pull-out in the kitchen chamber, but it was extremely uncomfortable. They ended up sleeping on camping mats on the floor in the sitting room--a lovely room that would benefit from the addition of a good quality pull-out bed. All in all, though, a great spot, with just about everything needed--including beach towels and a pot large enough for mussels or lobster! A little challenging to manage with only one bathroom, but again, great value for a very comfortable, spacious home. Note that it's a half-door to enter the kitchen chamber, so that room would not be suitable for anyone who is not able to bend over to enter and exit the room. Dawn was an excellent and very responsive host. Highly recommended!

Thanks for taking the time to do a review for us Heidi. So glad that you all enjoyed your stay. Take care! Dawn

We stayed at the Snows Farmhouse in late July, early Aug. 2018. 2 families with 9 people and we had enough room for us all. We enjoyed the proximity to the beautiful beach and the location of the cottage which was close to all we had planned during our week. The cottage was clean and well equipped, it had all that we needed and the owners were easy to reach for any questions. We also appreciated the fresh bread and jam that welcomed us upon arrival. Although the weather was very hot, there was always a good breeze that made for some good nights sleep. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Great location - for the beach (short walk - 5 minutes through the gate) and as a home base for touring the area - and for a day trip to PEI. Some nice snorkling off the rocks, good berry picking on the property (Saskatoon, blueberries and raspberries) and on the trails. Farmhouse is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Even with the heat the farmhouse had a good breeze to cool it off. Nice for a small group (four of us) but also room for more. Set up for kids as well. Is there a way to turn off the outside light on the tall pole? But good blackout curtains at the front.

Had a wonderful stay in this charming well equipped country farmhouse. Gorgeous sunsets, beautiful sandy beach a 10 min walk away and a spacious and very clean home. On the upper floor there is an added cozy bonus room our teen boys referred to as the 'hobbit room' which was perfect for them. Would totally recommend this place if sunsets, ocean beaches, relaxation and country living are your thing!
