Waterfront

Exclusive beach house with a breathtaking ocean view next to Kouchibouguac National Park.

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms with queen beds and one room with 2 double beds.

A first beach is accessible just in front of the house from the road side by a gentle slopped trail (not shown on Google Map)descending to it.

A 5 minute walk gives access to 4Km of private beach without any habitation along its protected area adjacent to Kouchibouguac National Park. The beach is a natural extension of the beach found in the park. On any given day you can walk for hours without even seeing other people on the beach. This experience alone will make you want to come back again and again as there are very few areas like this left anywhere else outside of national parks. Very exclusive area.

Endless hours of building sand castles will keep even the most active kids entertained. Sand building forms and shovels are provided in the house for your enjoyment.

The house will charm you with its historical man-made pillars that were preserved while renovating the original 100+ year old house.

Covered front deck with ocean view and view of PEI on a clear day. You will enjoy spectacular sunrises from this point of view while sipping your coffee in the morning. We spent many hours on that deck enjoying the view while sipping on our beverages and talking about the fishermen's boats going in and out of the area for their daily fishing trips.

Part of front deck is enclosed with large windows so you can still enjoy the spectacular views even on a less favourable day and be comfortable while doing so.

The house is beautiful, restored and decorated in a charming way with antiques. The photos don't do it justice! Every amenity you can imagine is there for you to enjoy your stay. Wonderful spot to enjoy the sunrise over the Northumberland Strait, and a short drive to tourist attractions in the area.

We arrived on Saturday afternoon and we had the cottage for 1 week. Marc and Annie were there to meet us and show us around the house and property. We had the best time on the beach every day the sat on the front deck each evening to watch all the boats go out. It was absolutely breath taking. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed. It was wonderful. We booked again for 2019 this time for two weeks. Our son and wife were with us and they are booking their vacation to coincide with our vacation dates. They loved it too.

We spent a week at this location and could not have been more pleased. The location is the first plus. You can sit out on the porch and enjoy the sunrise over PEI or watch the tide come in and out. The cabin is fully stocked with everything. You just show up with your luggage and food and enjoy yourself. There is a full kitchen, a BBQ and a fire pit to chose from. Plenty of room and seating downstairs if you choose to stay in or multiple chairs available if you want to sit out. More like a home but on the ocean. I recommend this cabin for anyone who is planning a waterfront get-away.

Spent 7 nights in mid-July 2018. Vary spacious/efficient cottage about 40 meters from ocean. Nice/safe beach for all ages. Cottage was very orderly and very clean. Owner was present at our arrival to give us a tour of the cottage and lot. Spacious Garage if you need storage area. Lot is very well maintained. Even has an outside fire place for building fires! Only about 15-20 minutes from Richibucto shopping area and restaurants. Small convenience/beer store less than 10 minutes away. Amazing sunrise as well as impressive sunset. Nice view of northern section of PEI. Very quiet area. Cool breeze at night entering cottage while windows open - sleeps great!. We were very impressed! Will definitely return and likely on a yearly basis.
