This family-owned cottage has many original features including a stone fireplace and partitioned walls upstairs. The cottage has been lovingly maintained and updated with a fully-stocked modern kitchen, main floor living room, bathroom, dining room, mudroom and sun porch facing the lake. There is one bedroom downstairs and three bedrooms upstairs.
The cottage sits right above a semi-private beach, where you can kayak, walk, sunbathe and swim to your hearts' content. There is also a semi-private waterfront patio and hammock overlooking the lake, perfect for watching some of the world's best sunsets. Other features include an outdoor shower and BBQ.
The cottage is located on a quiet road; tennis courts are a short walk away and golf courses are also nearby. A short drive away, Kincardine offers restaurants, a harbour, parks, walking trails, shopping and the Pipe Band Parade on Saturday evenings (excellent with ice cream cones).
Kitchen staple ingredients, books, board games, tennis rackets, paddle board and kayaks are all available for guest use. There is no laundry on-site, however, so guests should bring their own towels and sheets.
