Dover Sands Cottages are located in the heart of Port Dover, one block from the beach, shops, many restaurants and the Lighthouse Theatre. Enjoy a day playing at the beach, or exploring all the unique shops and restaurants our little town has to offer! Port Dover beach offers paddleboard rentals, Red Apple Rides offers bicycle rental and guided tours. Take a sightseeing tour aboard the River Rider on their pontoon boat down the Lynn Valley River and into the Black Creek Nature Reserve. Long Point Eco Adventures offer zip lining canopy tours and much more for the adventure seekers. Enjoy an afternoon touring our local wineries with an organized tour group. Stay and Play with us, and do as much or as little as you like.

We will be taking extra precautions with deep cleaning between rentals, we have instituted a booking buffer to air our cottages and allow for a thorough deep cleaning. We will not be able to offer some amenities for infection control reasons...please see our website at doversands.ca for details.

We are asking that if you do reserve a cottage with us you bring all your necessities with you before leaving home.
We will offer contactless payment and only be greeting customers outside their cottages on arrival.
All reservations for our 2021 summer vacation season are tentative only, we will be making a decision by the end of March and contacting everyone to update whether we will be opening for the vacation season or not due to the uncertainty of covid 19.

April and Duncan do everything possible to make you stay enjoyable. From the beautiful clean modern cottages to the crystal clear heated pool. we thoroughly enjoyed our week, This was our 3rd year at Dover Sands and have already book for next year during the Adult weeks. After seeing these cottage in previous years looking very unloved, the renovations the new owners have undertaken are impressive. The heated pool has been completely overhauled and is gorgeous. Many of the cottages have been completely revamped with new heating systems, air conditioning, new furniture and mattress, many with brand new kitchens. There is also an owner on site to make sure things run smoothly and pool rules are followed for everyone's safety. The cottages are in close proximity to the lovely beach, shopping, great theatre and local entertainment. The new owners are more than accommodating to the guests requests. The resort seems quiet even though it is located within a block of the heart of Port Dover. It is certainly a gem and very worthy of a visit. You will not be disappointed
