"Waterfront cottage in the Kawartha's" on Trent River just outside the town of Hastings, Ont. A two hour drive from the GTA area or 40 minutes east of Peterborough, / 30 minutes north of Cobourg.
the cottage is equipped with a DVD player, 2 kayaks for guest use, B-que and a fire pit for campfires at night.
We also have Wifi to stay connected and Netflix.
Situated approx. one mile from the town of Hastings off Concession Line # 7, McCarthy's Point Road is a maintained private road and a quiet area but close enough to Toronto yet away from the hustle and bustle so you can unwind and relax!
We are running our weekly rates from Saturday to Saturday . During the shoulder season we are offering a full week stay or a 5 night stay if you prefer a shorter stay at reduced rates. We have a fully equipped kitchen , ( no dishwasher) with dish towels, cutlery, pots and pans, coffee maker, tea pot etc. Come and relax!!

Renters must provide their own towels for showering and swimming and your own bedding sheets including pillow cases.

The town offers a indoor facility called " Hastings Field House" that provides a indoor track for walkers, tennis, golf putting , it's a pay as you go facility. a small town movie theatre called "Aaron Theatre is on the main street in Campbellford which is about 12 kms away, a 20 minute drive. it also has a bakery,2 grocery stores and a chocolate outlet and has trails you can use at Ferris Provincial park just outside of town. + VIEW MORE - COLLAPSE | Other Town/Lake/Area: | 12 kms west of Campbellford |

| Very Nice Cottage. Great for swimming boating kayaking and fishing. Great Location very close to town and enjoyed food and especially Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream with the kids. Cottage is spacious and very Comfortable.

| The cottage is very spacious. It's big and spacious on the inside. There's everything you need. Its like home away from home. The location is great. We enjoyed fishing and kayaking. There is a small little town 5 minutes away if you ran out of stuff an d great ice cream shop that served kawarthas ice cream. Paula is so friendly and helpful. We are recommending Paul's cottage to friends and family. We'll definitely coming back. Thanks Paula.

| My family and I had the pleasure of staying at Dave and Paula's cottage and we had such a nice relaxing time. Cozy cottage fully equipped with everything you would ever need. Beautifully decorated inside with full view of the lake in front of the cottage. Thank you so much Dave and Paula, can't wait to come visit again. We will never forget our stay. :)

| We just got home from a nice weekend weekend from this spacious cottage, It truly exceeded our expectations when we arrived, The place is clean and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home with the added bonus feature with the use of a kayaks and a even nice solid dock to fish from. Communication with Paula the owner was fast, easy & stress free.
Your group or family should book with confidence knowing that there are plenty of place for everyone to sleep and relax.
We look forward to coming back to this little piece of paradise ourselves :-)
