Once again, we have a "sweet spot" cottage for you and your family - a 3 bedroom, 2 bath traditional cottage with an upgraded feel with a waterfront gateway to all things nautical.
Bay's End is a prime choice for a small to medium size family. Three bedrooms plus a day bed on the lower level provide comfy sleep for your group. The large cathedral-ceilinged living room will be the main gathering place when you're indoors. The dining table suits for regular meals and kitchen island-seating is there for those wanting to share conversation over an ad hoc coffee or snack. A day bed and futon provide additional sleeping on the lower level but this is not recommended during winter stays.
A set of steps leads down to the waterfront, dock and boat house area. Bay's End is a great place from which to launch your exploration of Little Lake and Gloucester Pool. The rowboat is great if you want to cast your line somewhere on the lake. the paddleboat lets your family splash around and requires no boating experience. The canoe lets a couple of people do some further exploration of the islands and bays - or maybe take a paddle into Port Severn for ice cream. The cottage is located on a quiet road, so you won't see a lot of traffic, whether by road or water.
Extensive decking lets you step just outside to enjoy either sun or shade, and provides easy access for the grill chef in your group. No doubt you will want to share a few meals here under the welcome shade of the trees.
Feel like taking in a little Muskoka? Midland, Coldwater, Orillia and Parry Sound are all easy drives. Whether it's shopping, dining, history or scenery, you have it available to you. The local roads are very nice for walking or cycling. If you are bringing a motorized boat, don't miss the experience at Big Chute, the last remaining marine railway in the province. Even if you don't have a boat, it's worth a drive to watch it in action.

The waterfront at Bay's End is rather weedy, and we would advise paddling out farther in the bay for better swimming.
