Little Lake is on the southern tip of the Muskokas in Ontario. This private Linwood BC-built cottage is right on the water and is very private situated on over 1 acre of land with car access.
The cottage has just recently been updated so every bed has a new mattress and linens. There is a dock at the cottage and a marina close by if you own a boat. If not the cottage comes with 3 kayaks and a paddleboat to have some fun in the water.
In the winter the cottage is just a few steps away from the snowmobiling trails and 25 minutes from Moonstone Ski Hill.
Guests are welcome to use the entire cottage, driveway (6 cars), dock, decks, and fire pit (bring your own firewood). We ask guests to please refrain from using the basement, the pantry, and laundry room fridge as it is used for storage.
The cottage is on a drilled water well. It currently just had a $3000 filtration system added, including reverse osmosis at the kitchen sink and fridge (March 2021).
Things to note:
-if you are interested in having a campfire please bring your own wood and be aware of local fire burn regulations
- the cottage is on a septic system so only toilet paper should be flushed
-ALL garbage must be taken from the property (Bags are provided and there is a waste depot on the other side of the 400 highway as you leave, all garbage can be kept in the A-frame shed prior to leaving)
-BEFORE you leave the cottage it should be as you found it (ie. empty fridge, empty dishwasher, empty microwave, empty washer and dryer.
Interior includes a great room with a wood stove; a dining room that seats 8; kitchen has most essentials and includes fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher & microwave. Bathrooms have stocked toilet paper, towels and hand soap.
Please note the bunk beds are adult size. They are XL twins. So they are very comfortable for all ages.
