Welcome to Summerville Beach Escape! This ranch style cottage is newly purchased and has been completely renovated. Pictures have just been posted! Our Summerville Beach Escape cottage is located in a quiet subdivision in the hamlet town of St. Joseph just 10 minutes south of Bayfield and 10 minutes north of Grand Bend. Summerville Beach Escape is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage that will sleep up to 10 guests. During peak season, rentals are for 7 days, Friday to Friday. Just steps away from a private beach your neighbours are made up of retirees, seasonal cottage owners and renters. Although not lakefront, you will be steps away from dipping your toes in Lake Huron. Enjoy your morning coffee, lunch, dinner and/ or evening cocktails on the wrap around deck and your night toasting marshmallows by the fire.
Once inside, you will find two bedrooms with queen beds and a third bedroom that has two single trundle beds. If needed, the couch in the living room does have a pull out to accommodate 2 more guests. Amenities include, a fully functional kitchen, laundry facilities and a 3 piece bathroom - shower only.
Our cottage has air conditioning and a natural gas furnace to accommodate any season of the year. Enjoy free wifi throughout the cottage. The living room and each bedroom are equipped with a smart TV with access to unlimited channel surfing.
Guests can rest knowing that all linens and bath towels are supplied, however, beach towels are guests responsibility.
Beach stair access is steps away from our cottage where you can sunbathe, swim or enjoy the world renowned sunsets of Lake Huron which serves residents of the private subdivision of Vista Beach.
Local attractions include wineries, craft breweries and golfing. Grand Bend and Bayfield are a short drive away and offer the following attractions:
Pinery Provincial Park
Local shopping
Marinas with boat launches
Grand Bend Splash Pad
Many excellent fine dining establishments
For historical buffs, visit Goderich, the ?Prettiest Town in Canada?, which is a short 30 minute drive. It is known for its breathtaking shoreline and historic downtown.
For the winter enthusiasts, well groomed snowmobile trails are 10 minutes away which will lead you to any destination you wish to travel.
We accommodate those with family pets with a $100 per pet fee (maximum 2), provided your pet is house trained, friendly and courteous to the fellow residents of the subdivision.

| We were 6 adults staying at the cottage for 3 nights. The cottage was very clean, with comfortable beds and linens supplied, a well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. A gas barbecue was great to have and lots of patio seating. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and appreciated the firewood. The owners were communicative and responsive before, during and after our stay. Booking was simple. We really liked the location, right off the highway with easy access to Grand Bend, Bayfield and Goderich and beautiful sunsets! It was a wonderful stay!

| We had an amazing time at the Summerville Beach Escape! The cottage was beautifully decorated and very close to the water. Siting outside in the evenings around the fire was lovely and very quiet. We enjoyed a few meals out at the nearby restaurants and enjoyed a day exploring the cute town of Bayfield. The neighbours were friendly and very helpful. They let us know we were welcome to walk as far as we could along the beach in either direction. (The sunsets were beautiful at the far peak of the beach!)
The only downside for the older people in our group was the stairs that need to be climbed when heading to the beach. I would recommend heading over to the Bayfield Beach near the pier if this is also an issue for you.

| We booked this cottage for a 5 week stay while our house renovations were being completed. The amenities of the cottage provided everything we needed, it was exceptionally clean and nicely renovated. The beach, gorgeous sunsets, area farmers markets, wineries, golf courses and restaurants all in close proximity made this the perfect choice for us. Thank you Shannon and Marc, it could not have worked out better!!

| We had a fabulous stay! The cottage was sparkling clean when we arrived and well set up. We loved the little extra touches like towels folded neatly on all the beds and travel size items in the bathrooms. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into making this a great place to kick back, relax, and really feel at home.
