| Wonderfully-appointed spacious house with a great kitchen and everything you need. We made good use of the fire pit in the back and the beach down at the waterfront. Bring some water shoes as the beach is muddy past the first few feet, but there's no problem with watershoes and anyways our 4-6 year old kids didn't care, especially not while playing on the beach or floating in the water. We caught a few small fish off the dock for fun, we set up a telescope to see the moon, and we even got to just catch 4 of the Perseid meteors zip by!
Only caveat with this cottage is that you must be capable of handling STEEP hills. The driveway is steeper than it looks in the pictures, and the staircase up to the cottage doors can feel like climbing a mountain when you're hauling stuff in and out, but the experience otherwise was excellent, inside & out.
Great sofas, very comfortable beds, tons of windows to open for ventilation, and the gorgeous kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. Be aware that the dining tables were bar-height when we went, but because of the climb/stairs this is not a great choice to begin with if your party has mobility/accessibility issues.
