Modern and bright house in the town of Honey Harbour! Makes the perfect "home base" for your Muskoka adventures or a relaxing place to chill near Georgian Bay on semi-waterfront. About Honey Harbour: Honey Harbour serves as a launching point to the "30,000 Islands" that make up the Georgian Bay geography. The town of Honey Harbour has a small grocery and hardware store and Picnic Island Resort, a post office, a liquor store, a bakery, some restaurants, a Catholic church and school, a public elementary school, several small craft stores, a large resort (The Delawana Resort), and several marinas. About the house: The house is within walking distance to all that Honey Harbour has to offer (you can get to anything in the town within 10 min walk). The house is well maintained and the main floor has 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed in each and toddler bed available) and a full kitchen, living room and bathroom. The lower level has a living area, a third bedroom and laundry room. Outside is an enclosed back deck/ patio off of the kitchen with views of marshland (part of Georgian Bay). You can see and hear birds and all kinds of wildlife in the marsh from the patio and back yard. The back yard includes a hot tub, fire pit with seating, some outdoor games, dart board, barbecue and lots of space for kids to play. The backyard is contained with fencing all around and is safe for kids and pets.
Walking and biking:
Walk or bike left out of the driveway and you arrive at public docks, small beach area and walking path by the water. Walk a little further down the road and you fill find an LCBO, general store other businesses, a little further is Honey Harbour Park Landing and ferry service as well as Honey Harbour Park (picnic area, playground). Walk right from the house and arrive at 3 Marinas.
