Blue Owl Cottage is located in a quiet, peaceful bay on Chandos Lake. An ideal location to enjoy everything North Kawartha and this prestigious Lake has to offer. Just kick back, relax & listen to nature or do it all ... kayak, stand-up paddling, hike, waterski, tube, swim, rock jump, bike, fish, etc.
The Cottage is recently redecorated and very spacious. The main room includes lots of seating, a wood fireplace, a kitchen table and TV. The full laundry room includes a washer, dryer and sink. The large bathroom offers a bathtub, shower and double sinks. The master bedroom overlooks the lake and the kids room includes multiple single beds and a brand name crib for young families.
Blue Owl Cottage is located on-site at Gilmour Bay Marina. Guests can conveniently enjoy a meal at Wally's Pizza Pub & shop at the Gilmour Bay Marina Store. We typically get weekend traffic and is quieter throughout the week.
Canoes, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are available and free for guests to use! There is a boat launch on the property and boat slips are also available during your stay. Guests have access to gasoline and on-site parking.
Blue Owl Cottage is uniquely located on the snowmobile trail, also making it the perfect destination in the winter.
