Georgian Bay Island Oasis

*Boat Access Only* If you are looking for a quiet, family friendly place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life, look no further! This island cottage has a private lot on a shared island with panoramic west facing Georgian Bay frontage. Spend your days swimming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking in the crystal clear waters of Georgian Bay or walk the 5km trail around the 200 acre island. At night, you can enjoy a fire on the rock shore, watch the stunning sunsets and star gaze.

The cottage itself has two floors. The second floor has a half bath, a loft style bedroom with a futon, and one very large bedroom with 3 doubles and a single. The main floor has two bedrooms and a full bath. The fully equipped kitchen is spacious and connects to the main living area with a pass through which makes it feel open and inviting. The living area is over-sized, has cathedral ceilings and a huge floor to ceiling stone, wood-burning fireplace. Guests have access to a 65" Smart TV and DVD player.

Guests have access to the entire cottage except for the one room that is reserved for the owners (behind the kitchen), the boat house and basement.

Located less than a 2 hour drive from the GTA, this island is located near Honey Harbour and is a 7 minute boat ride from the closest marina. The island is large and has approximately 15 other cottages on it. Our neighbours also appreciate the quiet and relaxed nature of the island. It is peaceful and secluded, while still having access to modern conveniences such as shops and restaurants. The location also puts you within distance of a variety of provincial parks. It is only a few kilometres away from Beausoliel Island where you can find excellent hiking trails and other outdoor activities. Spectacular fishing can be found as close as the end of the dock!
