| This lake house was absolutely stunning. The interior was spotless and extremely organized! Everything you need from towels to spices was right at our fingertips. Our two year son enjoyed staying in this home as there was lots of outdoor space to run around. The dock was beautiful we spent the afternoon relaxing in and out of the water. I like the privacy that this home offers and the tranquil feeling in the home. The hosts were amazing and readily available if we had a question. We definitely will be back.

| Beautiful cottage! The decor was woodsy yet modern, with bright yet warm lighting. The deck was my favourite spot for breakfast and perfect for lounging with a coffee and a book. Games were provided and so fun to play and the open concept living space was perfect. Bedrooms were beautiful and beds were comfortable and views were beautiful!

| If you're looking for a very clean sanctuary with gorgeous views to disconnect and recharge, Surely Shirley's is for you. It's not ?just? a cottage rental but an experience that the owners have graciously cultivated. I'm one of those people who asks all the minute details, and our hosts were so friendly and communicative.
We plan on returning yearly to create new memories at this very spot!

| My husband, his sister and partner, and I had a marvelous stay at Surely Shirley's. The location was beautiful - it offered a quintessential Canadian cottage experience including loons calling on the lake. The cottage is very spacious and welcoming. We really loved the open concept living area so no one would miss any fun even when preparing meals. We enjoyed each others' company as well as found our own special spots to read and/or just sit and contemplate the natural beauty surrounding us. The vibe of the cottage reminded the siblings of their family cottage. Many cottage memories and escapades were shared as we dined, played cards, sat on the dock day and night, and enjoyed the firepit. We did take the opportunity to explore the area on foot as well as head off to a local brewery to sample its beers, pizza, and enjoy live music. Gillian and Robert were responsive hosts and great to deal with. I highly recommend staying at this property and I look forward to coming back in the future. I can only imagine how beautiful a fall visit could be!

| My wife and I had an amazing stay at Surely Shirleys. The moment we walked in were were impressed with the finishes and attention to detail at the property. From the window moulding, to the pine ceilings and flooring, everything was done to a high standard. It all came together and made for a wonderful ambiance that made us enjoy every minute of being inside. The private dock is just a few minutes walk from the property and has all the amenities one would need to enjoy Haliburton Lake. There's also the Eagle Lake country market close by about a 15 minute drive and if you want to see Haliburton Village it's about 30 min drive through some of the most scenic views in Ontario. Also, I would like to mention, the owners Gillian and Rob were very responsive and great to deal with. I would 110% recommend staying at this property and I can't wait to come back in the future.
