Practice the art of slowing down at this kick-back kind of cottage. Featuring well worn materials, unfussy antiques, and a sandy-feet-welcome policy, this rustic retreat offers a crash course in simple and casual, come-as-you-are style. Behold, the art of easy, breezy! There are many reasons to love this cottage! It is in excellent condition and sits on Stewart Cove in the lovely Pinette River off the Northumberland Strait. It has 4.5 acres of private riverfront with mature trees and ample green space. It has a large deck for relaxing and an inviting screen porch for enjoying meals, reading, drawing, writing, or taking a nap. The beauty of the property is enhanced by the natural rhythm of changing tides and the presence of bird life. Watersports can be enjoyed right from your doorstep and there are stunning sunrises over the cove. Take a step back in time and enjoy a game of cards, boardgames, lawn games, a puzzle... Options are available at the cottage for you to use! It is close to: beautiful sandy beaches; picturesque Belfast Highland Greens gold club; Northumberland Fairy to Nova Scotia; Point Prim Chowder House and farmer's market; and Cooper's General Store where you can find all the necessities. It is 35 minutes south-east of Charlottetown and approximately 45 minutes south-east of Cavendish. It is very central on the island, making day trips easy whether you travel east or west! This cottage has a kitchen, dining area, large and small fridge with freezer, gas stove top, microwave, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, all dishes, indoor towels and linens, outdoor barbeque, and deck chairs. It has two bedrooms and an oversized sectional couch in the open concept living area if needed. There is a radio and a television for dvds. There is an outdoor fire pit overlooking the waterfront!
Available June through September, preferably on a weekly basis of Sunday to Sunday, but am flexible on the start and end dates, so just contact for availability. Willing to rent bi-weekly and monthly during these months and the price is negotiable for longer stays! Price is also slightly cheaper in September.

NOTES Longer stays are preferred and I am flexible on pricing if you choose to rent the cottage for over 2 weeks. 3 weeks would be $3750. 4 weeks would be $4000. September is $1300 a week rather than $1500. If absolutely necessary, Guest shall allow Homeowner, Plumber, Grass Cutter or Cleaning Lady access to the property for purposes of repair and inspection. Homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner. See cancellation policy: however, if there are extenuating circumstances within 7 days of your stay (death, severe illness or injury) please contact the owner immediately to discuss. Security Deposit is to be paid with remaining 50% 30 days before your visit. Cheque must clear or e-transfer confirmed. If you are paying by cheque it needs to be received before the 30 day mark. E-transfer preferred. It comfortably sleeps 4 and that is why rates are based on 4. $15/night for each additional person, up to 6 people total. | Beautiful cottage! Bright, clean, and decorated wonderfully. Excellent location. Enjoyed the peace and quiet, and closeness to nature. A great place to relax and unwind. Also close to lots of different beaches around the coast. And only 35 mins. from Charlottetown. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
