Fall asleep to the sound of waves crashing on one of the nicest sandy beaches on Nova Scotia's south shore. This rustic cottage, built in 1963 has captured the hearts of many visitors over the years. Used as a family cottage for generations, it is now being offered for weekly rentals from May to October.
Route 329, situated on a hill overlooking Bayswater Beach Nova Scotia Provincial Park, the cottage offers an open living and dining room, two double bedrooms, a small child's room with bunk beds, three piece bathroom, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, barbecue, and sundeck with retractable awning.
Located on a quiet, private road 300 meters from the beach, the cottage sits on a large grassy lot with plenty of room for children to play safely. It is situated on Nova Scotia's picturesque Lighthouse Route one hour from Halifax or Lunenburg. Please email for additional information and availability.
The weather in May and June month tends to be spotty depending on mother nature with everything from very cool to very warm days, and windy by times. It is a good month to come and visit if you are looking for property in our area.
September and October months in South Shore Lunenburg County are normally very fine warm days, light winds and rarely foggy, with cooler evenings. Trail walks in our area offer beautiful fall colors for photography and painters. Mahone Bay holds a famous scarecrow festival usually in October. Thanksgiving week may be celebrated by attending one of the many different church services, throughout the area.
