Situated on Lake Muskoka, 750 ft of frontage on its own point of land.... privacy, beaches, blueberry bushes, winding paths, scraggly brush and rock outcroppings dot this very level, very child and dog friendly lot.

Fabulous swimming. No weeds anywhere. 9 ft depth off the sun-all-day-swim-dock for deep diving, plus 3 separate sandy wade-in beaches (with hard pack sand lake bottom) for the little ones and dogs.

Bell high-speed WiFi throughout cottage allows for teleworking.

Recently renovated 3 bedroom, executive year round cottage - post and beam construction, with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans throughout. Multiple walls of windows. The large master bedroom overlooks the lake with wall-to-wall windows and a king sized bed, walk-in closet and 4 piece ensuite (including double sinks and glass/granite rainshower). Guest bedroom #1 overlooks the lake with wall-to-wall windows and a queen bed. Guest Bedroom #2 has a queen sized bunk bed (sleeps 4). Total sleeping accoms are 8.

Like the master, the guest bath has premium fixtures throughout.

The kitchen has a glass cooktop island with bar seating for 4. S/S appliances include: fridge, convection stove, dish washer, built-in microwave, wine fridge. Gourmet kitchen is fully equipped.

Ceiling fans throughout to keep you cool, if the cross breeze from this point of land does not.

Best of all worlds - terrific cottage, terrific outdoor space, and a fantastic owner. Pictures and description are very accurate. The cottage itself is lovely, spacious, well stocked, and very well cared for. The outdoor space has it all with shallow and deep water, shade and sun, warmth and a breeze. The owner is very kind, generous with his time, and always accessible. Callnest is the total package.

We had such a lovely time at the cottage! Gathering around the kitchen island, on the couches, under the gazebo having lunch but most importantly on the dock we're the true highlights. The space and location are perfect for some time away in nature. There are gorgeous trails both in the provincial park close by and other local ones. Our dog loved being welcome and hanging out under the umbrella on sunny days on the dock.

Rainy days were beautiful as well with plenty of board games and a cozy dinning room to play.

The hosts were gracious and we hope to come back soon!

We had booked CallNest for a month in the summer of 2021, but as you can imagine, Covid had other plans. Regulations made it almost impossible to travel over the border. Alex was very accommodating and returned our downpayment in full - much appreciated!

We stayed at Callnest for 3 weeks in Aug 2019.
To say we were impressed would be an understatement. The pics in the listing were highly accurate, so we didn't have any ?surprises? upon arrival. Communication with the owner was easy, and Alex was was always available if we had any questions before or during our stay. The cottage itself was as pictured/described, and had all the conveniences one might require. It was clean and ready for us, and Alex was kind enough to provide us with a walkthrough upon arrival. Our only concern was the lack of A/C, but even on hot days and nights, the fans kept us cool.
As for the property itself, this is where the experience truly shined. It was on a large point, surrounded on 3 sides by the lake...simply magnificent! There were multiple areas for swimming, lounging, hanging at the dock, etc and an elevated area for our nightly campfires.
A family of ducks were nearby, and we enjoyed feeding them every morning (feed was provided). The way the cottage was situated on the lot provided for privacy, and we felt as if the lake was our own. We will definitely be returning here in the future, it was such a relaxing time!
You will love it!
