Located on the Bay of Quinte in beautiful Prince Edward County, County Shores is a vacationer's, camper's, angler's and RVer's paradise, offering a quiet and memorable vacation for all. County Shores is a 22-acre camping resort with over 1,300 feet of shoreline, providing fantastic views of the Bay of Quinte and its legendary sunsets. For the camper, we offer large open and shaded grass sites with great views of the shoreline and the convenience of being a short drive to Prince Edward County attractions and the world-famous Sandbanks Provincial Park. For the angler, come fish the world-famous Bay of Quinte and Telegraph Narrows for record-size walleye, pike or bass. For the RVer, we offer large open and level sites for easy RV access, along with pull-thrus and 30-amp electricity, all less than 15 km over good paved public roads from Hwy 401. Our Solmesville House is located in a private corner of the camping resort and has its own road access and large one acre yard. It features Hardwood Floors, Pine Walls, and County Rustic Charm. It is 1 1/ 2 storey with 3 bedrooms and can sleep as many as 8. It has Large Screen Satellite Television, fully equipped kitchen, Rear deck with Propane BBQ, and of course campfire pit for those summer evening fires and sunsets. And no Prince Edward Vacation Accommodation is complete without a Sandbank Beach pass for you to go and come from the sandbank as needed. Once you have confirmed booking, please inquire about the beach pass code as reservations are now required at Sandbanks and North Beaches - reservations.ontarioparks.com. County Shores is not responsible for reservations at Provincial Parks. There will be a $10 Administration Fee per day for those requesting assistance in booking the beach reservation.
With the Solmesville House you will have access to all the amenities of County Shores. Boat Launching and Docking (fee) is also available, along with Boat and Motor Rentals, Canoe Rentals. We have a Convenience Store on site, and sell ice, firewood, bait, and tackle.
