| The cottage is in a beautiful spot with a lovely view. The fire pit area is perfect, especially with the sunset and the view. Love the screened in porch. We ate most of our meals there and it was a nice spot to relax and read a book or play board games. The cottage is very relaxing. There are neighbours nearby, but it's still fairly private. The cottage was very clean and has everything you'd need for cooking. The water was high during our stay so we didn't do any swimming off the access from the cottage, but hillside beach is a short drive and a nice spot to spend the day. Our family had a great time at this cottage!

| This cabin has all you can need. Amazing view from the screened in porch. I loved that porch so much I basically lived in it. We swam right off of the property but we are adults. might be hard for kids.there's a public beach nearby. Campfire is overlooking the lake. Never tired of the view

| This cottage was just what we needed for a lovely mid-summer week at a lakeside cottage: waterfront property with a view of the sunsets over a vast lake, a shoreline for rock climbing and exploring, a fire pit by the lake, nearby beaches (a drive of ten or fifteen minutes), a roomy and comfortable screened in porch, a cute kitchen with a good stove and oven, and a comfortable living room. We had a terrific week. While the weather was quite hot, the AC provided enough relief for everyone and the evenings were always lovely on the porch. The owner is kind and accommodating. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

| We stayed at this lovely cottage in October of 2017. It was the perfect getaway for us - close to the city, yet isolated enough for us to feel like we could get away from it all. The cottage is in excellent condition, and in a prime location right on the waterfront. Everything that you need is here to enjoy a holiday - a sunroom overlooking the lake, a wood stove to keep warm, a fire pit for use in the yard, and a relatively modern kitchen. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
We loved it and would definitely go back again.

| We fell completely in love with this place! Even our reluctant teen daughter who is not too "outdoorsy" loved it here and wants to come back.
This is a small cottage with everything you could wish for. What we loved most was the screened in sunroom. We spent a lot of our time in the space sharing meals, reading, drinking our morning coffee, or just taking in the ever-changing lake view. Fresh lake air without the bugs - perfect!
The kitchen had everything we could need to cook a meal; and we love to cook, so we cooked early every meal in the cabin. We sometimes had to hunt something down (I swear the can opener was hiding on us, but then we found it in plain sight), but we always found what we needed.
We also LOVE the fire pit. Watching the sunset while the fire takes over the darkening sky is just amazing. The set-up around the fire pit is fantastic, with lots of room to adjust seating to accommodate the direction of the wind.
We took a couple walks down the road (only a handful of cottages) and each time we encountered someone they were super friendly and welcoming. Nice people for sure.
Our daughter would want us to include the little touches like lighting. The cabin is magical at night bracause of lighting - be it the peaceful lights in the sunroom or even the little lights in the living room.
This cabin is just heavenly. I could go on gushing for days. If you have a chance to book this cabin, take it. You will not be disappointed. We can't wait to go back.
