| We stayed at Splash Pad 2 for two weeks in August 2022. PROS Cottage was clean and well equipped, high quality linens, large island in kitchen to gather around for meals. Grass cut weekly. Air con worked well as we had some humid weather. Friendly but not intrusive neighbours, property management excellent with prompt response to a minor issue Lakefront a few steps away goes to a small private beach with rocks and stones for 20 feet or so into the lake but then a sandy bottom. Shallow for a long way out. CONS I strongly recommend two things. There is almost no natural shade from trees or overhangs. In order to sit outside facing the lake, shade UMBRELLAS are a must for sunny days (11:00 am - 4 pm). The view and ambiance is spectacular from the break wall facing the lake. It is a shame to miss any of it. Also, a sturdy RAILING installed on the each of the two sets of short stairs from the house to the grassy front yard leading to the lake would benefit those of us who are a "certain age".
OVERALL the property was as advertised. But would need to know shade umbrellas were available in order to rent again. The lack of shade diminished our enjoyment of an otherwise ideal setting.

| We stayed at this awesome cottage as a girls weekend getaway. We each had our own bed as there were plenty of beds and space. It was comfortable and clean and everything we needed was supplied. The location was great and it was only a few short minutes to drive to Port Colborne. The cottage was located right on the lake and the weather was great. Neighbours were very nice and everything was nice and quiet at nighttime for sleeping. Great place.

| We stayed at this cottage in June 2019. This is a lovely, clean, bright, well-appointed and well-maintained cottage with a practical, spacious layout and an awesome view of Lake Erie. Mike was generous and responsive when we needed to contact him, after a brief power outage for example. Holiday Homes provides clear instructions to do with arrival and departure, as well as cleaning service upon our departure! WiFi, bath towels, linens, a couple of water toys and firewood are provided. Everything was in place for a quiet, refreshing week away.
