| This is an amazing cottage! There is more than enough space for a family of six (and a small dog). We had colder weather and stayed a bit more indoors, but the den, sunroom and good sized bedrooms made for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is the best equipped I've had at a cottage. The dock is gorgeous and being able to watch the sun set was so relaxing ? truly worthwhile. Evan, our host, was incredibly friendly and responsive. We may have found our new annual rental!

| The cottage was better then it's photos and absolutely perfect. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and all the rooms were spacious and clean! Evan was also really responsive. Would definitely book again in the future.

| Such a nice cottage! Beautiful lake view, Just steps off the back deck to the water. Very clean and a great location. We would definitely stay here again!

| This cottage is great for all ages! We had such a nice family getaway. Evan was quick to respond and made the whole experience stress-free. The cottage did not disappoint even when the weather wasn't ideal. We made good use of the fire pit and had plenty of canoe trips. The cottage was spacious with lots of room for our 6-month-old to crawl around hazard-free. Our 3-year-old loved the small sandy beach and the shallow seaweed-free entrance. The water was warm even when we were faced with cooler temperatures. We love cooking and were happy with how well stocked the kitchen was and loved the good quality gas BBQ. We travelled with my 74-year-old mother and she was very pleased with how easy it was for her to get around. All the grounds were well maintained and steps and landings were safe. We will definitely be coming back!

| The cottage was charming, with a well equipped kitchen, a really nice gas range & electric appliances, comfortable furniture and beds, clean modern bathrooms, fresh bed linens and towels. The vaulted kitchen/great room is open concept with a wonderful view of the lake. The weather was not what we hoped for but it did not dampen our experience. I, and my wee dog, kayaked twice every day but one. We had one stormy day - watching the storm from inside was great! My husband and I are seniors - our only obstacle was the steep stairs from the parking area down to the cottage. I was the one who carried everything down and up again (it was a good workout). We would definitely like to stay again - Farlain Lake is a hidden gem. We have stayed at other cottages on this lake, at least five times, over the years. As other reviews have said, Evan is only a phone call away!
