| My husband and I were thrilled to call this spectacular cottage getaway ?home? while we explored nearby Kinmount and Haliburton. The property is absolutely stunning with the calm mirror-like Burnt River running along the backyard. The stay came with complimentary use of every water toy you can imagine and our gracious hosts Ralph and Min were happy and eager to help us get launched in every one of our choosing! In fact, I doubt we could find more congenial hosts if we searched high and low. Ralph and Min gave us the most hospitable welcome we have ever had and made us feel right at home from the get go and that feeling never ceased. Our hosts were great conversationalists who offered a wealth of local knowledge regarding places of interest to see or do or places to eat (although the kitchen in our lodgings came with everything you need to cook for yourself plus a BBQ in the backyard!) Our hosts went the extra mile when decorating the newly renovated lodgings ? it came with two TVs, an indoor shuffleboard table, multiple fireplaces and the fridge even came stocked with condiments and ice and the cupboards with spices and an abundance of cooking utensils and dishware. The premises were spotless and we were given full private use of their immaculate grounds including dock and sitting area. Honestly, I do not think we could have dreamt of a place that could live up to this ? a truly hidden gem that deserves to be explored again and again. P.S. ? check out the Highland Cinemas in

| This is an absolute best place for your retreat, particularly for a couple or a small family. It is very clean and has all amenities of your needs and they are quite NEW! It gives you the ample spaces inside and outside and let you enjoy the sunshine, and the morning mist, the beautiful, calm river which let you recall the movie: ?A River Runs Through It?. Our Hosts are absolute fabulous, gracious, very generous, and are also helpful in exploring the nearby. They made us have fun and enjoyable. Nearby towns and places like Haliburton, Minden, Ritchie Falls, ?118 Lookout? (Skyline Park) near Haliburton are encouraged to explore. I was told that the autumn season is the prefect time to see the color changes along the river and from the rolling landscape in the area. Looking forward to the next visit.

| This location is a hidden gem! The river is absolutely beautiful for swimming, canoeing and exploring. The river has its own character from early morning (magically misty) to late evening (calm and glass-like). Central to so many places to visit like Haliburton (check out Sculpture Forest!), Minden, Bobcaygeon, Ritchie Falls and more. A great place to use as a home base for touring the area or simply laying low and enjoying the peaceful/private atmosphere along with the local wildlife. Space was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were so gracious and helpful with tips about what and where to visit. Thank you Min and Ralph! Hope to be back soon.
