| We had a lovely family vacation at Bearfoot lakehouse. It was recently renovated with all the comforts of home(washer/dryer, wine fridge, dishwasher!) Haliburton lake is a beautiful lake to swim, kayak and pedal boat on. The lake association beach is great for younger kids to swim as you can walk in and it has a sandy beach area so we would go there almost daily (5 min walk) It also had a nice playground and volleyball court.
I would just add that this property may be better suited for school aged kids due to it being on a point with stairs down to the water with the only water entry being from the dock.
The best part of this space was the sunset view on the lake. I have stayed at several different cottages and this view was unbeatable.
I would highly recommend this beautiful cottage for your vacation!
