| Beautiful place to stay and the pictures shown match the property itself.
Our group had an amazing time fishing and hanging out by the campfire at night.
Tons of things to do around the area and the owners are very prompt in their communication.

| Excellent cottage in a really great location. We booked a last-minute winter stay and the hosts were extremely accommodating, really going out of their way to get everything ready for us. They even started a fire in the wood stove! The cottage is very comfortable with a large great room overlooking the river. It would be a great and very private spot in the Summer with BBQ, fire pit and access to the Rideau river. We spent one day checking out all the nice shops in Merrickville which is only 5 minutes away. Overall it was a great experience and just what my family needed to break up the winter. We're hoping to get back there again in the Summer.

| Our family of 7 stayed at the "Nest by the Locks" during the fall last year and had a great time. The cottage itself has all the modern amenities with an amazing deck. The view of the water is great and the backyard is huge, great for the kids to run around and explore with enough privacy. Clowes lock(a short 2 mins walk) is a great experience too especially if you are lucky to see how the gates are operated when boats have to pass. Returning again in June to enjoy that all over again

| Well-equipped cottage, perfect to rest and relax, very comfortable with a lot of renovations made recently.
We enjoyed the perfect backyard, the lake view, dining on the deck or at the waterfront, and also visiting Merrickville and Smith Falls. There are plenty of activities to pass a beautiful stay here.
The booking process was smooth, the staff is very attentive and responsive.

| Beautiful cottage in quiet setting with very modern facilities. My grandsons (ages 6 & 8) quickly named the downstairs room the party room because of the foozeball game, tv & huge couch area. Ample room for our 4 adults & 2 kids. Blue herons were seen fishing near the river's edge. All amenities are up to date & working. Also enjoyed visiting nearby Merrickville & touring Ottawa..
