We were 9 kayakers staying for a week in early Sept 2021 in cabin 6 and 11. Four of us in cabin 11 were very comfortable. Lots of shelves and room to store our boat gear and food. However if there would be a fifth person in cabin 11 I would not recommend sleeping in the downstairs sofa room as none of the windows opened and we found it stuffy when sitting doing a puzzle in that room. There is a door with a screen but that is the only air. Warning?there are no hangers, bring your own. There is one closet in the downstairs to hang clothes but no hangers available. ( we asked) Lovely big table in the kitchen with a small table runner doily only?so bring your own placemats or table cloth. The cleaners do a good surface clean but the window screens were dirty and the walls had old and new spider webs that should have been removed by the regular weekly clean. We brought 8 litres of drinking water each which was enough for the week. Bring plenty of old clear small plastic bags as we each had a bag to put our used toilet paper in as it does not get flushed! There is a requirement that the garbage be gathered in clear bags. We enjoyed our stay, very quiet and relaxing. The stores are not far and we were able to get fresh local fish easily. Great stay.

Fun weekend with friends at these beautiful cottages. Amazing location, beautiful views everywhere and the owners were very welcoming too. Recommend this to anyone 100% and we are for sure going back. Lots of fun!

The description are very accurate - all was as we expected. The place was amazing, we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay while on vacation. We were very impressed and wished we could have stay longer! Helen the owner was such a sweetheart and made sure we were very comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be sure to book again soon.

We celebrated a friend's birthday over the weekend at Katawoda cottages. This is the 2nd year we've come to stay at one of the cottages. The owners were very warm and welcoming. The cottages are well kept and clean. There is also a barbecue grill available to be used on the cottage's desk. The private beach and dock were a great place to hang out and fish during the day. There are also kayaks and canoes available for rental. It was a family friendly and pet friendly environment. We rented kayaks and the surrounding view was amazing. Sylvia was a pleasure to interact with and was very helpful with answering any questions that we had about our booking. We are definitely looking forward to coming back for a 3rd time next summer !

We had the pleasure of staying at the Katawoda Cottages last summer. It was a wonderful time for our family. The cottage was very clean, well equipped with all the basic necessities and the owner was very attentive and helpful, to ensure our enjoyment. It is a very peaceful and beautiful place well suited for quiet family getaway. We are very grateful to have had a chance to experience Katawoda Cottages and we can hardly wait for another stay in this beautiful place in the future.
