Beautiful Waterfront cottage with a large lawn, and large tidal beach. There is a wrap around screened in veranda, great for enjoying the view and a breeze without having to enjoy the company of the Mosquitos. Water remains shallow until the channel which makes it warmer, and perfect for children. Views are all of water, and across the water is Kouchibouguac National Park. There is a boat launch near by, and water in front of cottage is perfect for mooring a boat. River is great for waterskiing, kayaking, etc. 20 Mins from both St Ignace and Bouctouche Golf Courses. 15 mins from Kouchibouguac National park, 5 mins from Jardine provincial park, 20 mins from Bouctouche and its famous Acadian village Pays de la Sagouine. 15 mins from the beautiful secluded beach of Cape Lumier, located on the Northumberland Strait. 10 mins away from the Bonar Law Historical farm which was the birthplace of Andrew Bonar Law. Heating: electric baseboard Equipments: Three bedroom, two with queen beds, one with two twins. Living Room with Satelite TV and DVD player. Eat in kitchen with full range, fridge, microwave and toaster oven. Full bathroom with washer/ dryer. Cottage has a great wrap around veranda, and a sun porch.

| Il y a beaucoup de positif dans cette location, mais du négatif aussi, malheureusement. Le plus grand avantage de cette maison est sa galerie grillagée sur deux côtés de la maison. Il faut donc que la température soit assez clémente pour pouvoir manger sur la galerie (à l'abri des nombreux moustiques, de jour comme de soir). Qu'on mange à l'intérieur ou sur la galerie, la table n'accueille que 4 personnes. La cuisine et la maison sont bien équipés et il ne manque de rien pour les produits comme le savon ou le papier hygiénique. La localisation est bonne aussi, à 10 minutes de l'entrée du parc Kouchibougouac et à 5-6 minutes de Richibucto. On y est donc tranquille, à part les gens qui viennent stationner leur voiture au bout de la rue pour pêcher des coques ou partir en jet-ski. Le plus grand problème de cette maison est que les lits sont complètement finis. Des matelas défoncés, ultra-mous. L'autre problème est que le seul contact qu'on a est par courriel. Aucun numéro de téléphone pour rejoindre qui que ce soit en cas de problème. Lorsque j'ai écrit un courriel à mon arrivée pour dire que 2 des 3 ventilateurs de la maison (indispensables lorsqu'il fait très chaud !) ne fonctionnaient plus, on m'a simplement répondu qu'il y en avait un en commande (alors qu'ils en vendent au Rossy à 5 minutes de là?). Enfin, l'eau du robinet est très sulfureuse, ce qui fait qu'on doit acheter de l'eau embouteillée pour la consommation (on devrait nous le dire avant notre arrivée).

| This place has everything you need for a great summer vacation. Right on the water, perfect for long walks and clam digging. Beautiful wrap-around porch for eating lunch and supper or for relaxing in the evening.
Location is great too, close to Kouchibouguac, Richibucto.
We will definitely be coming back!

| Lovely cottage. Beautiful view of river and sunsets. Peaceful and private, but close to amenities. Our second time here and would defiantly come back.

| Sarah's Summer Retreat is a nice little home away from home with full kitchen, laundry facilities, BBQ, WiFi and cable access. It is close to Richibucto for any grocery needs. It can comfortably accommodate a family with sleeping room for six. This waterfront property offers beautiful views of the southern end of the Kouchibouguac National Park peninsula. Enjoy the screened-in back porch and dining alfresco. The children will love the grassy backyard and play set. The sandy beach is wonderful for long walks, building sand castles or digging for clams. This is an excellent spot for a home base when exploring the Acadian Coastal Trail . Visit Mirimishi, Bouctouche and Shediac. We had previously rented this property in 2009 and liked it so much we decided to return in 2016.
