This custom built Scandinavian designed chalet is nestled among Towering Pines with easy road access. Located on the Provincial scenic tour for the Whispering Pines, just minutes from Grail Springs Spa.
4 fireplaces throughout, large eat in kitchen, 6 bedrooms, including the loft, 3 bathrooms, finished lower level with walkout basement. Just through the patio doors and down to the Lake, where you will find a child friendly sand beach. Peddle boat and 2 canoes included for your use. This is a non-motorized lake. ATV
If you are an ATV enthusiast, then Bancroft is a destination you need to know about. Located in the Eastern Central part of Ontario, the little town of Bancroft is one of Canada's finest outdoor playgrounds.
The Hastings Heritage Trail is the corridor that delivers it ALL for quad riders. It is a 156 km multi-use trail that follows an old abandoned railway line which starts in Glen Ross to the south and heads north to Lake St. Peter. This trail is part of the Eastern Ontario Trail Alliance (EOTA) that boasts a 700+ kilometer network of trails that offer an adventurous mix of terrain for ATV enthusiasts. Located on the southernmost tip of the Canadian Shield, ATV riders will be thrilled with the scenic ride they will experience as the trail system cuts through muddy wetlands, incredible forests, around lakes and over rolling farmlands. Checking the map you'll see that the trail routes wind their way from Bancroft into all kinds of communities worthy of a stop and fully equipped to cater to your needs. From fuel stops to restaurants, touring riders will be well taken care of. Bancroft is the perfect hub to get your ride started and has a by-law permitting ATVs on their roadways. Eagles Nest
A trip to Bancroft is not complete without a visit to the top of the Eagle's Nest for a panoramic view of the York river Valley below.
High upon Bancroft's "Eagle's Nest" you get a panoramic view of the York River Country side and the rolling hills sprawled along the horizon.

| This was our third New Years Eve weekend at Towering Pines. It's a wonderful cottage with lots of room for our family group of 15. The Christmas decor is beautiful and the frozen lake provided hours of skating fun. Already booked for next year.

| This past Thanksgiving was mine and my families first time staying at Towering Pines cottage. It was the perfect weekend getaway. From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we were amazed at its beauty! The pictures do not do it justice. This cottage is the cleanest we've stayed at in over 7 years of trips. The fall decorations was an added touch of warmth and festivity. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind individually, also to come together for games and gathering. We loved the well stocked kitchen and the coziness of preparing and enjoying meals by the wood fireplace. Speaking of fireplaces, my personal favourite thing about this cottage is all the fireplaces throughout but specifically, the gorgeous one in the living room!
Andrea is an amazing, attentive host and very responsive to any questions or concerns. She truly cares about her guests' experience and satisfaction. This is evident by the the level of cleanliness, the personal touch of a hostess gift, the thoughtfulness in the over-all furnishings/décor and everything included with your stay. We are booked for another visit and plan on many more to come!

| Once again, our family spent our summer vacation at the beautiful Towering Pines Cottage in Bancroft.
The grounds have everything a family needs to enjoy the crystal clear water of Lake Lucerne. There's life jackets, kid's toys, a canoe, peddle boat, kayak and paddle board. There are plenty of Adirondack chairs for all your guests as you sit and enjoy the sunsets or sit around the campfire.
Inside there were plenty of beds to sleep our family of 14. The decor of the cottage is worthy of something out of Homes and Gardens with plenty of cooking supplies and blankets, comforters and pillows. The owners Andrea and Jason are so accommodating and keep the cottage extremely clean and in great shape.
Being a non-motor lake, the grounds are so quiet with just the sound of the loon calling throughout the day and night. If you're looking for a peaceful destination for your family vacation, Towering Pines will not disappoint.
