A private, sand-entry beach on Three Mile Lake makes Wonder Beach cottage a perfect getaway for families. The shallow water is perfect for swimming, sun bathing, or making sand castles. Two kayaks and one paddleboard are available for a leisurely tour of the lake. If you like relaxing without the heat of the sun, take pleasure with a good book in the covered, screened porch or under the towering pines overlooking the lake. A large firepit with bench seating is located at the waterfront. At night, enjoy the spectacular Muskoka sunset or make use of the three-burner Weber BBQ with an extra side burner and searing section ? perfect for preparing a big family meal. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a large dining area that can comfortably seat 10 people. The airy living room has a 14-foot, wood-beam ceiling with plenty of seating, a cozy fireplace, and a 55? inch television with satellite. This floor also features a full bathroom and a walkout to the ground level screened-in porch. A games area, including pool, ping pong, foosball & air hockey tables, has been set up in the garage for evening enjoyment. A treadmill is available for use in the garage for anyone interested in a quick workout. There is plenty of comfortable sleeping for up to 10 people. The expansive master suite with a generous office space and windows overlooking the beautiful lake is tucked away in a private corner of the cottage. A luxurious 3-piece bathroom is located just off the master bedroom. The main floor guest room has two twin beds, and the third and fourth bedrooms each contain a queen bed and are located upstairs. If you have someone looking for more privacy, they can take advantage of the separate bunkie that has electricity, and a queen bed. Need to grab some extra drinks of other supplies? The General Store with an LCBO and gas station is only 2 kms away. If you would like to enjoy restaurants, shops or a movie theatre experience, Bracebridge and Huntsville are both within a 15-minute drive. There are also many hiking trails located within a 20-minute drive for any outdoor enthusiasts.

| I've stayed at Wonderbeach cottage for the weekend a couple of times and would definitely recommend it.
The outdoor space was great! The firepit had a beautiful view of the lake with benches and lots of available firewood - perfect to sit around and chat. As well, a private, sand-entry beach is very hard to come by and we were really grateful to have a beach to ourselves.
Inside, the cottage was spotless and had all the amenities to make it comfortable. There was a full bath on both the main floor and off the master suite that included laundry facilities. The main floor had lofted ceilings with wood beams and big bay windows with lake views that made everything feel quite spacious. A cozy stove and lots of seating in the living room made for a great boardgame space. There was lots of sleeping space and it was nice to have four bedrooms to allow for privacy for everyone. The pool table and air hockey table in the games room was also a big plus when we got a rainy evening.
There is a ton that you can do a short drive from the cottage. I've done a few different 3-5km hikes that are about 15 minutes away. As well, both Bracebridge and Gravenhurst are pretty close and I've hit up a few different breweries and pubs in both towns that made for a great afternoon. As well, as someone who lives in Toronto, the 2 hour commute right up the 400 was a huge perk.

| This was our second time staying at Wonder Beach. We first went in 2019 and were so excited to book again. The cottage is the perfect size for our party of 9. Our teenage girls enjoy their separate space in the bunkie, and the cottage is well-equipped with everything we needed for the week. We love the location, the beachfront (which is perfect for young kids), and the access to kayaks, paddle board and the games room provides endless entertainment on rainy days for all ages.
The hosts are lovely and communication is always prompt. This included calling me back almost immediately on the last day when my car keys accidentally got locked in the cottage and I was in a panic!
This cottage holds a special place in our hearts and we are certain that once you experience it, you will
want to book annually like us.

| We had an amazing time at the cottage!!! The cottage itself is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were a party of 10 and everyone settled in comfortably. Most days we spent at the beach which is truly a ?Wonder Beach?, it felt like you are in Cuba with the shallow water for a while as you finally get to the deeper water. This was just perfect as we had 6 kids in our group ages from 4 to 16 years old and all of them enjoyed their time playing in the water. Thankfully we only had one rainy day which was actually nice for a change as we all ended up spending time in the playroom which is very entertaining as there was something to do for everyone. Ending the days by the firepit was very relaxing. The owners are very nice, responsive, and easy to work with. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful cottage!

| We absolutely loved our week at Wonder Beach! Everything was immaculate when we arrived. The cottage is just beautiful and so comfortable. The beds are comfy, the rooms and storage provided are great. The main bath is spectacular and having laundry is so handy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and had everything needed. Perhaps a little extra cupboard space for pantry items would be helpful as only the small cupboard and shelf over the stove were free. Overall, the furnishings are lovely, comfortable and tasteful and we loved the neat little touches like the fishing rods/reels for curtain rods, The amenities were fantastic! The game room was a welcome addition on the rainy days which unfortunately were too many...lol. We used everything in there except for the treadmill. The board games and cards provided were fantastic. Of course, the amazing beach was everyone's favorite and all the toys were well used. The kayaks were used by everyone and we loved those. Some child size lifejackets would be a welcome addition. The firepit was wonderful and we had many memorable campfires singing and making s'mores. The wildlife is amazing! we enjoyed the ducks and babies, the geese and loons, frogs, chipmunks, squirrels and woodpeckers and other birds. We even had a visit one day from a heron that came right up onto the property and snatched a little chipmunk right outside the porch window and flew off with it....yikes....that was amazing to see lol! Great experience

We are sorry to hear about the weather, but it's great that the games room came in handy! I myself, have used the treadmill to get my steps in on those types of rainy days. It's important to hear about the limited storage space you feel that the kitchen has. We will work to clear a larger space for future guests. And we'll definitely be picking up some child's size lifejackets for next summer. | |
