Welcome to our lovely family cottage located on Canal Lake in the Village of Kirkfield, Kawartha Lakes. It contains 3 bedrooms, 1 washroom, 1 powder room, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining room and 3 season sunroom. Unlimited internet - Xplornet. It sleeps 8 comfortably (maximum 4 adults per stay). The property offers a large, level backyard with ample room for outdoor games, a patio by the water with comfortable muskoka chairs, sandy area and a fire pit for those smores and stories. The water by the shore is shallow and warm which makes it ideal for families with little ones. Southern exposure is perfect for basking in the sun all day long while the large maple trees offer shade throughout the day. The property is pet friendly with a fully fenced backyard. It is the best spot to watch a full moon reflecting over the water. Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come relax by our lake that offers great fishing from our dock or a boat. Take long rides on a kayak, canoe or pedal boat that are available for your use. During winter, warm up to the electric fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate after cross country skiing or snowshoeing on the frozen lake. 1.5 hour from Toronto, our cottage offers a great get-away for families, couples or girls/ guys time away. 17 minutes from Balsam Provincial Park with gorgeous trails and sandy beach.

| Amazing cottage! Clean and modern. Lots of space for the kids and pets to play, as well plenty of entertainment and games. Two bathrooms is a plus! Fully fenced to the shore line is VERY rare and so helpful for kids and pets! Nice warm shallow water makes for relaxed parents, letting the kids play in the water. Lake is great for kayaking and canoeing! Not many motorized watercraft passing at all! It was so beautifully quiet and peaceful! We have been 3 times and plan on renting again in the fall!

| What a wonderful, relaxing long weekend we had? thanks to our amazing hosts! The cottage was perfect for 2 couples with the bedrooms and bathrooms on separate levels. Each room had tasteful, comfortable decor. Every amenity was anticipated and provided for, from the fully stocked kitchen, to a wide range of board games, dvd movies, books and electronic games. We loved having morning coffee in the airy sunroom and sitting in the Muskoka chairs by the beautiful lake. We had fun taking out the kayak, canoe and paddle boat. It was especially nice canoeing at sunset when the lake was really calm. Surprisingly, we only saw a couple of boats on the lake all weekend. This is a really quiet location, a real hidden gem!

| We stayed at this cottage at the end of August. The owners were vey communicative and helpful. The cottage was great, having all of the amenities our 3 generation family needed. The lake is weedy but the owners maintain a weedfree area along the shore. The property is nice and flat with both sunny and shady spots available. The grandkids had a lot of fun catching fish off of the dock and doing catch and release. There are a lot of games (indoor and outdoor) available for entertainment.

| Our family of 4 stayed at Anna's cottage in Aug 2023, along with the grandparents. We were very pleasantly surprised upon arrival at the little gifts Anna left for us, especially the one for our 5 year old. We had been in communication beforehand and she picked out the perfect thing for him, he was sooooo excited.
The cottage itself is beautiful, well appointed and incredibly well-stocked. It had everything we needed for a 5 month old, 5 year old and elderly parents. We've stayed at several cottages and this is the best stocked one we've ever rented. Anna was also very lovely and communicative throughout the booking process and during our stay.
There were plenty of activities in the cottage, both indoor and outdoor. There aren't many things to do too close by, but within a 15-20 minute drive there are some options. The fishing on the lake is excellent and it was very peaceful to just sit and enjoy the water and view.

| We just spend an amazing week at Dreamwater Cottage (4 adults, 2 kids & 2 dogs). Anna is an excellent host and provided a very clean, very organized and fully stocked cottage. Many things are like new or only slightly used and everything is in excellent condition. The lake is quiet and warm and the dock is perfect for the kids to fish from. The only drawback is that it's shallow and weedy so not ideal for swimming, however the first 50 ft or so is kept weed-free. Anna's communication about what to bring and her quick response time is impeccable. I highly recommend Dreamwater Cottage!
