| Terrific 3 generation family vacation. Lovely accommodations with lots of nice touches. Can sleep 11 ,but we were 9 and were comfy. The house had everything we needed. Good private lot, beachfront 70 feet from the front door. Lots of watercraft, the lake water is crystal clear. And the Hunters were most caring and attentive hosts!!!

| We are a group of long time friends, and we all enjoyed our stay at the cottage. We spent most of our time cooking in the kitchen and dinning at the big dinning table. The kitchen is of good quality and is filled with everything one needs to feed a large group. Due to the weather we couldn't go on the lake, that's left for next time and summer.

| We had a wonderful stay at Hunters Haven! Tim and Allison were very accommodating and wanted to ensure that we had a great time. The kids (and the adults) loved the fantastic waterfront and all the fun water toys. The fire pit area was beautiful! The cottage was very clean and well cared for and we had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay.

| This was our 3rd year staying at Hunter's Haven! Accommodation: Kitchen recently renovated with new appliances. Has all the equipment and utensils you need for your stay, even plastic plates and cups for the little ones. Extra fridge in garage to store drinks etc. Rooms are spacious and clean. We bring our own bedding and pillows however blankets are available. Showers in both bathrooms which are both very clean. Water does smell like sulphur but that's expected. Fresh drinking water available at no cost which is a 1 min drive from the cottage, fill up large jugs for dispenser. Television on main floor which has most streaming channels. We brought up our Nintendo Switch for rainy days. Lots of board games and puzzles to keep our group entertained in the evening. We did find the air conditioning to be on the cooler side however it was nice when it was hot outdoors. Amenities: There is a private beach with very shallow water, no rocks or seaweed and direct access from the cottage ( across the street but basically steps away). Kids love jumping off the dock and swimming to the water trampoline. The kids kayak is always a hit along with the canoes. Lots of chairs and life jackets available. We used the fire pit to roast marshmallows every night. Fire wood is available but we brought some lighter fluid to help get the fire started. Tim and Allison are so easy going and available within minutes if we had any questions. Looking forward to our stay next summer!

Owner response: It's been nice having your family enjoy our cottage for the last few years. Your return visits to us tells us that making the place both fun and comfortable is a goal we've reached. That makes us happy We also would encourage you to set the air conditioner at a temperature that will keep you happiest during your stay. See you in 2023! | |

| Hunter's Haven is more a home than a cottage. We found everything to be as advertised and more. The newly renovated kitchen is modern, very well equipped and roomy. Rustic live edge thick wood slab dining table and bench, as well as the BBQ sideboard are a nice touch. A short grassy area leads to a narrow sandy beach leading down into a shallow sloping lake entry with clean, refreshing water. The dock is spacious and the on site launch a welcome bonus for our fishing boat. The canoe and water trampoline were fun. The BBQ area along the shoreline is well constructed, safe and well lit. Our hosts, Tim & Allison were friendly, courteous and attentive. We had a power failure and in short order, Tim arrived and connected a generator to keep us going. We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and restful respite at Hunter's Haven.
