Just walk over the grassed yard to the water's edge & panoramic shoreline waterviews.

Perfect for enjoying the solitude of your own thoughts by the evening shore side campfire. A real sense of tranquility exists as no water traffic enters cove allowing you to peacefully swim, and for shorebirds to bring their young to feed & play! Kids can fish right off your own dock! Shore fishing can be rewarding!
Treed setting of towering maple & cedars, has grassed rear grounds to enjoy, & is ideal for morning canoeing or strolls. Let Dad push the kids or Mom in the tree swing like old times. Maybe an early dip. After exploring in nearby Sauble Beach, Wiarton or Tobermory, settle back on the shore beside your dock with soft scented lake breezes for a drink. Possibly you're a late-niter, so take in the awesome display of stars, visible because no city lights exist. Likely the "Milky Way" will emerge. All this while toasting marshmallows over a bonfire! Dear Anna and Paul
I wanted to write and thank you both for what turned out to be the best vacation I have ever had with my daughters. Your cottage is lovely and had every amenity we could possibly need for our vacation. I enjoyed getting up early each morning to have my coffee as the sun rose and nature's beauty was all around me with the terns diving into the lake eating minnows and the duck family swimming off in the distance. When my girls got up, we ate our breakfast at your perfectly situated picnic table in front of the cottage as the sun warmed our skin. Our days were filled with swimming and playing and my daughter's wondrous amazement at the plethora of little frogs (a few of which they named), butterflies and wildlife that Whisper Cottage had to offer. Most of our evenings were spent enjoying a BBQ as the sun fell into the lake creating beautiful colours in the sky. This was followed by a campfire with marshmallows and smore's as we watched the night sky fill with stars. Our favorite evening was the night we watched two chocolate weasels play around the yard in what appeared to be the best game of tag ever. You truly have a wonderful vacation spot that is peaceful, very child friendly with its shallow water entry and filled with natural beauty. We all look forward to the opportunity to return to Whisper Cottage.
