New! Beautiful 2 bedroom, two-story cottage on Tracadie Bay with red rocky sand has all the comforts of home, including free WIFI. Canada Select rating 3.5 stars. Start your day off with a coffee and a book on either the large downstairs deck or the upstairs deck, overlooking the Bay. The unobstructed water view from the deck is the perfect place to watch the sunrise over the water (cottage faces East). The red sandy beach is ideal for kayaking and windsurfing and has shallow water for swimming. Quiet area. A PEI National Park Pass for free admission to all white sandy beaches from Dalvay ( 10 minutes away) to Cavendish is included for the length of your stay. Full kitchen with all new appliances including dishwasher, microwave and full-size fridge and stove. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, cutlery... everything you will need to make a PEI dinner. There is a propane barbecue on the large deck, with easy access to the kitchen. Enjoy cooking or entertaining in the spacious kitchen/ dining room area.
There is a living room downstairs that provides an open concept to the kitchen and dining room. It has access to the large deck via patio doors and also a side door. There is also a second living room upstairs that has an electric fireplace, satellite TV, DVD player and patio doors that provide access to the deck upstairs.
There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and living rooms to keep you cool and to circulate the air on hot summer days. Electric heat throughout the cottage provides plenty of warmth for those rare but treasured mornings when mist envelopes the Island or, on chilly or rainy nights.
To get a good and comfortable night's sleep, there is a bedroom (with Queen size bed) on the main floor with access to a full bathroom with surround tub with shower. A large bedroom upstairs (also with Queen size bed) features an old fashioned tub in the corner of the room and adjoining bath with a shower. There are large closets in both bedrooms.
The floors are laminate and tile, and the walls and ceilings are pine which give a warm and cozy ambiance.
The cottage has hairdryers, towels, linens, telephones, a washing machine & dryer on the main level, propane barbecue and large deck.
It is a spacious, well equipped cottage, 1/2 hour to Charlottetown, close to beaches, and golf courses.

| Bien localisé, très beau chalet finition intérieure en pin 1×6 v joint, chaleureux et confortable. Bien centré afin de se déplacer pour visiter l'Ile, aller à la plage, visité Charlottetown ect. Le chalet est aussi très bien équipé avec beaucoup d'espace de rangement et très confortable pour dormir. Notez aussi qu'il y a 2 salles de bain completes ainsi que 2 chambres.
Plein de commodités, jeux de société et grand terrain pour profiter de l'extérieur.
Nous retournerons à cet endroit sans hésiter.

| All the comforts of home and more. The cottage/chalet was exactly as shown and described. Lots to see and do or if you prefer sit on one of the decks and enjoy the view. We thoroughly enjoyed PEI again and will definitely be back in the future.

| The Garden Chalet was the perfect location for the purpose of our two week vacation on the island. To explore all parts of the island but to also enjoy the peacefulness of Tracadie Bay. The cottage was well equipped for all our needs. And many thanks to Daphne and Shane as hosts of their lovely cottage. The wealth of information we were provided was much appreciated. | The wonderfully equipped cottage provided all the comforts of home. Everything we could need was provided from coffee to linens to books and games. The cottage has two levels so, as we were travelling with another couple, we each had our own private space with bedroom and living space on each floor. It would also be perfect if travelling with children. The owner greeted us, instantly making us feel welcome as we shared a laugh or two. We had a fun stay at garden chalet!
