| We've rented a different cottage every year, and Moosewood is by far the best one yet. It's spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful screened porch perfect for enjoying meals and taking in the lake view. The pool table was a huge bonus for rainy days and evenings! We played every day and even improved our skills by the end of our stay.
The grounds are stunning, surrounded by cedars and pine trees, and the lake is quiet with clear, warm water. On the hottest day, the water temperature reached 27°C, making it perfect for swimming and kayaking. We also enjoyed fishing and even caught a few bass. We had planned to explore other places in the area, but we enjoyed our stay so much that the only trip we made was to Bancroft for groceries.
I'd also like to mention the excellent communication with the owners, Peter and Catherine, and the smooth booking process.

| This is the second time we've stayed at Moosewood and it was perfect both times. Driving in is like you are entering a special place in the woods. The cottage is very clean, comfortable, spacious, and charming. Every attention to detail has been given - from the welcome bottle of wine to the helpful and informative notes from the owners.
We love the view from the windows, and the screened in porch is amazing. There is lots to do on rainy days in the games room. The property is gorgeous - private with lots of lakeside dock space to lounge and enjoy the wildlife and the sunsets.
The lake is clear and very quiet compared to other lakes we've been to. This is our new home away from home!

| Moosewood is a delightful retreat in the woods, on a very private bay and surrounded by nature. My family enjoyed swimming in the clear water, kayaking around the lake, and hanging out on the dock and the screened porch. The roomy cottage was clean and well-maintained. The furniture was comfortable (including the beds) and the kitchen was well-equipped. While there was no dishwasher, there were other great amenities such as drinkable tap water and a washer/dryer. We loved the pool table, the quaint decor, and all of the places to relax inside and outside of the cottage. This is a beautiful, tranquil spot for nature lovers! Catherine and Peter are gracious and helpful hosts who evidently respect nature and take great care of the cottage. We would definitely return for another vacation at Moosewood!

| Moosewood is a beautiful cottage located in a peaceful setting on a quiet bay of Cashel Lake. Would highly recommend a stay for those who enjoy the comforts of a well appointed cottage nestled in a rustic environment filled with wildlife. The screened in porch was a dream.
Moosewood is a hidden gem!

| We have been renting cottages for 15 years and this is by far our favourite place to come and relax. We are return renters! The view of the sunsets is spectacular and the screened room is a great additional space to have dinner or a morning coffee. The lake is clear and great fishing! The week we stayed here the loons gave us quite a show as they gathered for their morning calls. There is plenty of space with the well appointed rooms and the kitchen has everything you could imagine to make fabulous meals! Thoroughly enjoyed our week!
