| Oh my goodness I don't even know where to start on how awesome our week at this beautiful cottage was! Our grandchildren ages 9 & 4 had the best time. The beach is so clean and private. The water is shallow and clear so we didn't have to worry about anything. There are so many places to sit outside the cottage and lots of room to put out some outdoor games. The inside of the cottage is so spacious and beautiful and has everything you could ever need. All you have to bring is your food and you are all set for the week. There are grocery stores nearby if you forget anything. There were 8 of us there and it's so big you never have to worry about tripping over anyone. The dishwasher is definitely an added plus! The breeze off the lake keeps the cottage nice and cool. The sunsets are magnificent. If you need anything or have any questions Elvie is just a text away. We have already booked for next year! | We have booked this cottage several times over the past few years, and it has always been our favourite annual family cottage getaway. We have a large family (6 grandkids, 7 adults) who want to spend time with their children in the comfort of a welcoming home. Sharon has equipped this cottage with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, the bedrooms have extra comforters and pillows if you need. There's even an ironing board downstairs with a washer and dryer.
We found the cottage impeccably clean! We love that it is pet free (my kids all have allergies to pet dander and dust), so that's a bonus for us. Not only that, but we also loved that it was only a two-hour drive from our home in Toronto.
The home itself has an old world charm that takes you back into time, but without feeling dreary. It's a cheery space, and you feel comfortable as soon as you step inside. The home is very spacious, with plenty of bedrooms and pull out beds for everyone. Natural lighting floods each room every morning, and the view of the lake is stunning. The grounds are gorgeously plotted with large old trees, making it a perfect green space for family pictures and BBQ's.
The beach is the perfect cherry on top. Clean sand and crystal clear shallow waters, perfect for little kids! We even did a bonfire on the beach to end our stay. I would highly recommend this cottage to any family wanting to enjoy a few days of cottaging, but without 'roughing' it.

| Thanks Sharon and Elvie for another wonderful week at your beach house. The grandchildren remembered it well from last summer, and were excited to return. The beach was perfect for our 6 little ones and we had no worries about safety in the shallow water. They spent many hours playing in the water and creating engineering marvels in the sand.
This cottage is well stocked with linens, dishes, towels, cutlery so no need to bring anything but your clothes. A washer, dryer and dishwasher are a great help. The WIFI was a great improvement over last year and we enjoyed the SMART TV in the living room for late-night viewing. The outdoor shower really helped to reduce sand tracking into the house. Thanks ladies for these improvements.
We love the two big picnic tables under the patio roof, allowing us to have every meal outdoors. When we ran short of food, grocery stores were only a few minutes away. Elvie is very responsive by text or phone to questions and needs.
This is a wonderful beach house for a large family to enjoy.

| This cottage has old world charm with many extra amenities! Tons of rooms with really nice beds and big living rooms to relax in. The biggest bonus is the beach. We spent our whole holiday sitting on the beach and enjoying the calm water. Many things are included so you don't have to bring a ton of stuff and the grocery stores are 6 minutes away. There is always a cool breeze coming off the lake.

| What a wonderful way to escape the covid blues ! This was the first time our family had been together in several months so it was a celebration in many way and I cannot think of a better place to have gathered. This beautiful cottage possesses all the charm and tasteful ambience of a stately home, with little decorative touches not usually seen in the average cottage. No, this was definitely not an "average" vacation cottage ! Our grandchildren enjoyed the private beach with the soft white sand and shallow water and we were all amazed at how fully stocked this lovely home was with china, linen, kitchen and beach supplies. Sharon and Elvie thought of everything to ensure we had a most enjoyable vacation and our family cannot wait to return. Thank you ladies !
