| This is our 4th year staying and it's always a pleasure. Bass lake is wonderful for fishing and swimming. We love the huge dock. Plenty of room for everyone. The cottage itself is also so big! So much space for everyone to eat and watch a movie together or have separation if it's wanted! Very well equipped kitchen and an easy drive in. Always a great stay.

| Second year staying and so happy again! The property is so beautiful. The house itself is so well stocked and enourmous. Plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. It has so many antiques and treats to see inside. The lake is amazing and warm and the dock couldn't be better. Caught great bass in the lake. Already looking forward to our next stay. | We love staying at Bass Lake Retreat! This year was our 3rd visit and we are already looking forward to next year! We love the space and the fact that our family of 9 can hang together on the large dock throughout the day and enjoy meals together at the huge harvest table. But equally important is the fact that the cottage is so spacious that we can find space to be alone and read quietly if we choose. We are never stepping on each other's toes! The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. We had everything we needed to prepare large family dinners each night. We especially love the location of Bass Lake Retreat - close to Mactier, Port Carling, and Bala. Groceries, LCBO and delicious baked goods (at Don's in Bala) are all a short drive away. We also look forward to visiting the Bass Lake Restaurant for a cold beer or a meal each year we visit.
The lake itself is perfect for us. We like the small size. We also really appreciate the privacy that the cottage itself allows.
Mike and Rose are a pleasure to deal with.
Bass Lake feels like our home away from home! Thanks Rose and Mike!

| This cottage is beautiful and spacious! We, as a family had a wonderful time. We enjoyed boating, tubing and canoeing. One family member even caught a bigger fish than last year. We find the BassLakeRetreat very peaceful and would recommend this cottage to any large group.

| This is our third year staying at Bass Lake Retreat. It is a great location at the end of a quiet lake with lots of privacy. The large dock is awesome for swimming and jumping (deep water, no shallow entry so not as good for little ones), with a pedal boat and canoe to tour around the lake in. The cottage is large and set up well for large family gatherings with a huge kitchen/dining/living area. It is also really well equipped, with absolutely everything you could need for cooking, baking, etc. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and quiet. Rose and Mike are both pleasant to deal with and answered any questions or requests we had. We've had lots of great memories here and hope to be back again!
