| We spent a lovely end of summer week at this very peaceful cottage on a beautiful lake. The cottage is very clean, spacious and well-maintained. It is very quiet with no close neighbours. The lake is stunning. Beatriz is a wonderful host, communicative and helpful. We did a day trip to Bancroft and went treetop trekking. Came home very relaxed.

| We enjoyed 2 great weeks at this cottage and we had terrific weather. The cottage sits on a very large private forested lot with no close neighbours. The large raised deck gets sun for a good portion of the day and there is sun on the dock until early evening. The lake is shallow and warm but is a little weedy when swimming. The cottage is very spacious, clean and well equipped. All of the bedrooms are a good size with plenty of cupboard space and very comfortable beds. It was very handy to have a washer/dryer/dishwasher and it was also important that the tap water was drinkable. We had some issues with the water temperature in the washer which I am sure the owners will fix. The cottage has large dining spaces both inside and on the deck. The screened in porch area with the BBQ was very convenient. I would recommend bringing most food with you as shopping in Coe Hill is very limited and expensive and Bancroft is 45 minutes away. We didn't have much luck with the Wi-fi reception and cell phone reception was off and on unless you went up to the road. The owners were always available to help with any issues. Overall we had a great holiday and are planning to return next summer.

| Our family of four had a great time at this cottage. The cottage has lots of room for one or two families. The cottage is very well organized, clean and spacious - as well as beautiful. Its on a quiet part of the lake and no neighbors - felt nice and private. Really the perfect spot. The view from the dock and porch is quite spectacular - every morning awoke to the sound of the Loons across the lake. Loved the covered bbq on the porch - we spent two weeks there and being able to bbq on rainy days was great. Beatriz was a wonderful host and helped with anything we needed. We cant wait to come back again!
Advice: Loved the The Granite in Bancroft for a dinner away from cottage, Trudys - try not to shop there - just use for small incidentals, prices are outrageous - Foodland in Coe Hill was probably close to same distance away; Coe Hill has a little playground for kids by the fire station and down by the water is a camp (Bear Ridge) where you can get the kids some ice cream, plus down the street from Bear Ridge is a small public beach. Cellular works at cottage but is slow (Telus and Rogers) - we were able to make and receive calls with the occasional drop - absolutely not a criticism - I expected at a cottage tech not to be perfect, it was no problem.

| We had an amazing long weekend at the cottage. We enjoyed the water - swimming and canoeing; the kids enjoyed exploring the woods and learning a good amount about nature and the Canadian Shield (of course with 3 teachers in the family). We saw the loons who seemed to like people as they came very close to the dock. The cottage is very comfortable, very clean and neatly organized. I love the large room on the top floor, very spacious and the king size bed! It is excellent to have 2 bathrooms, especially with young children in the family. Having access to the washer and dryer plus the dishwasher was a huge advantage so we could spend more time enjoying the place instead of doing home shores. The location of the cottage with respect to the lake is great as the dock gets the sun most of the day hours while is far enough from the boat activities/noise. We would love to come back and have a longer vacation in the future. Thank you so much!

| We had an amazing week at Lake of Islands Cottage. The cottage is clean, the rooms are good sizes with closets and bedding and it is nestled in an incredible forest. We spent every day at the Lake. It was warm and great for swimming and canoeing and we loved watching a family of Loons on the water most days. We had a great vacation stay and highly recommend this cottage.
