| My family really enjoyed our stay at Kelford Lodge. Far enough from the road that you don't hear traffic but so easily accessible. The cottage itself is beautiful and it was lovely to walk in, on a hot day to fans and AC on - it was so comfortable. Plenty of space for 8 of us to hang out without always being on top of one another. The lake is lovely - we swam daily and really enjoyed the wildlife in the area. We'll be back next year for certain!

| The cottage was perfectly equiped from everything. ( you'll find even boad games and games for children)
It's so clean and cozy.
We spent a very good time there and we're looking forward to go there again.

| My husband and I stayed 4 nights over thanksgiving at this cottage and it was everything we had hoped for. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated with lots of big windows overlooking the beautiful views of the lake . It was very quiet with a long winding driveway through the trees to reach the cottage so no noise from the road. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to rent there ourselves again next year.

| We had a nice stay at the cottage, the foliage was very nice. Please be aware that the person that stayed in the bedroom with superposed beds said it was a bit tight to sleep in.
However, I would be remiss if I did not made other potential guests about the specific rules regarding the cleaning (which were not included in the agreement) which were highly unusual and very unreasonable.
Examples of the cleaning include: having to mop floors, having to clean the toilet, the bath and fridge (even though when we got there, the fridge had multiple items), putting away the garbage and recycling at the end of the road, storing back all the dishwear, etc. We spent multiple hours doing so, and making sure every room and surface was clean. We still got charged 100$ in cleaning fees, which was very unreasonable considering the amount of cleaning we did. If the owners do not wish to have even a hair on the floor, they should simply charge a cleaning fee instead. I have never encountered this situation in my life and I have rented at least 6 cottages in the past year.
Anyways, please beware of this point when choosing a cottage.

Réponse proprio: It is clear in our rental agreement that was signed by the renter that the cottage has to be cleaned back to the way it was when they arrived. In this case they did not comply to what they agreed to when they signed the rental agreement. We do not charge a cleaning fee for those who return the cottage back to the agreed state, we do offer a cleaning service for those who want to opt out of cleaning the cottage themselves which some take advantage of but most just clean well before they leave, we have never had issue with this with any of our past renters. | |

| Myself my husband and our 2 friends stayed here just for some rest and rewind time and it worked cottage was cozy very clean and comfortable had everything you need and was very spacious cant wait to stay for a week next time with family
